A 13-year-old girl wore black tights, a green camouflage jacket over a white T-shirt, and pink and white Reebox sneakers to school, according to police.

It was a beautiful Saturday morning and afternoon as PS Youth joined Lauren's Kids for their “Walk In My Shoes” 5K Walk in Fort Lauderdale. Happy to state that Paula S. Scott-Blackwood was there for the long haul. It was well worth the effort.

April is Child Abuse Prevention month and we are spreading awareness year round, with an amplified voice this month!! Let’s work proactively to put an end to even the thought that predators can get away with hurting innocent children.

This book will help younger children to be speak up and also be aware of what’s inappropriate. The book is written in a way where it’s not offensive to young readers - but it still demonstrates what could happen and what to do if ever faced with such a traumatic experience. It also encourages caregivers to actually care. Every book ordered in April will be matched with a donation to a child/family.
