Welcome to GLCCNV! Our mission is to advocate, promote, and facilitate the success of LGBTQ+ and allied businesses in Nevada.

GET CERTIFIED: GLCCNV is the local affiliate for NGLCC. GLCCNV members that are eligible for LGBT certification through NGLCC will have their NGLCC certification fees waived. GET CONNECTED: GLCCNV hosts networking events regularly throughout Nevada to help your business and marketing.

Zak Shellhammer has spent over 20 years helping businesses stop performing and start connecting. As a Marketing Performance Strategist and Consultant based in Reno, Nevada, he works with entrepreneurs and organizations to build business strategies that are authentic, organic, and built around who they actually are rather than who they think they're supposed to be.
His philosophy is simple: the more you are yourself, the more your business thrives. That belief drives everything he does, from one-on-one consulting engagements to community involvement, and it's the thread that runs through every client relationship he builds.

Zak also hosts "In the Corner with Zak," a podcast where entrepreneurs share candid stories of building success on their own terms. As Community Engagement Coordinator at Urban Roots Teaching Farm in Reno, he supports garden-based education and community connection, and serves on the Silver State Fair Housing Council Board of Trustees.

As Event Chair for GLCCNV in Northern Nevada, Zak brings that same energy to the community: show up as yourself, build real relationships, and create spaces where others feel safe to do the same.
