🚨 WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SAY YES TO A MAMA & HER 9 BABIES 🚨

We have been asked to take on a sweet Heeler mama and her nine 5-week-old babies, but this is a BIG commitment, and we cannot do it without our community behind us. 🥺❤️

Mama wandered into someone’s yard while pregnant. Her finder tried to get rescue help, but unfortunately, no rescue was able to take her at the time. So this sweet girl did what mamas do—she had her babies right there at her finder’s home, where they have been cared for ever since.

Now the babies are 5 weeks old, and their finder desperately needs a rescue to step in, take over their care, get everyone fully vetted, and ultimately find all TEN of them loving homes.

We want to say YES. But we need help to make that possible.

We have just paid for two major eye surgeries, and taking on a mama plus nine puppies is a significant financial commitment for our rescue.

For these 10 dogs alone, we will need to cover:

🐾 Deworming
🐾 F***l testing
🐾 Multiple rounds of puppy vaccines
🐾 Spays/neuters for all 9 puppies AND Mama
🐾 Food and puppy supplies
🐾 Toys, beds, crates, p*e pads and all the other essentials that come with raising a litter
🐾 Any additional medical needs that may arise

And we need FOSTERS! 🏡

We are looking for:
❤️ 1 foster home for Mama
❤️ 2–3 foster homes for the puppies

Ideally, we would love to split the puppies into three groups of three so the responsibility doesn’t fall entirely on one foster home.

This is one of those moments where we need our village. If our community can help us with the financial commitment and foster homes, we can step up and give this little family the rescue backing they need.

🎉🌸🐾 FLOWER & FRANKLIN HAVE BEEN ADOPTED!!! 🐾🌸🎉

WE HAVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG TO SAY THESE WORDS. 😭❤️

After entering rescue on 6/6/25 and spending over a year waiting, Flower & Franklin have officially found their forever home — TOGETHER. 🏡🐾🐾

These two have been through so much during their time in rescue. They waited. They moved through changes. They watched other dogs find their families. And through every single day of waiting, they had each other. 💛

And now… they have a family of their very own.

The rescue has waited for this moment. Their foster has waited for this moment. Flower and Franklin have waited for this moment.

After all that time, all the shares, all the prayers, all the hoping, and especially all the love poured into them by their foster and everyone who supported them along the way, their day FINALLY came. 🥹

There are some adoptions that feel extra special because you know just how long the road was to get there.

This is one of those adoptions.

Flower and Franklin will never have to wonder where they belong again. They get to stay together. They get to settle in. They get to be loved as FAMILY. ❤️

And we truly could not be happier for them. 😭🎉

To their incredible foster: thank you for loving them through the waiting. Thank you for giving them a safe place to land, for caring for them, advocating for them, and helping them make it to this moment. We know this goodbye is bittersweet — but THIS is the goodbye we rescue for. ❤️

To Flower & Franklin’s new family: thank you. Thank you for seeing them, choosing them, and opening your hearts and home to not just one, but two dogs who have waited so incredibly long for this moment. ❤️🥰

After more than a year in rescue…

A DNA test was done and they are 50% malamute and 50% cocker spaniel. 🤯

They are 7.5 months old.

A little update on Breeze, the dog who was abandoned at Desert Breeze Dog Park in deplorable conditions!

This little stud muffin has moved into foster after spending 2 weeks in medical boarding, he was diagnosed with demodex mites secondary to untreated allergies. He has a skincare routine that’s more in depth than most humans 😆
He is getting 3 medicated baths a week, plus medicated lotion on non-bath days, and is on oral medications, vitamins, AND skin supplements. ✨

He still has a long road to recovery, but we think he is absolute perfection, and are so happy we could save him!! 🥹

We have our guesses as his hair starts growing in…but what is yours?! Fluffy or standard!

When it rains, it pours, and quite frankly we are being flooded. 😞

Donations have been low, our bank account is getting low, and to top it all off, we have $8k in eye surgeries coming up next week which will unfortunately put us on hold for a while…unless we get help. 😕

Willow was a puppy being given away in a parking lot, she’s had ongoing eye issues and now we finally have an answer after visiting Dr. Smith at Eyecare for Animals. She has a ruptured cornea, from trauma of some sort. She is in immense pain, and medicated eye drops have not worked, meaning she has to get corrective surgery or she will lose her eyesight, or even worse, her eye. We just can’t let that happen, she is young, vibrant, and does not deserve to lose her eye due to humans failing her. Her surgery costs are over $4000 and you can see the invoices at the very end of this slide 🧾

Apollo was adopted from the shelter and then surrendered to us when his family moved, and has a cherry eye that needs to be corrected before he further damages his eye due to the discomfort it is causing him. This surgery is also over $4000 and can be found in the invoices at the end of this slide 🧾

As many of you know, we do not cut corners with our rescue efforts. We do not remove eyes to save costs if the eye can indeed be saved. Is it expensive? Absolutely. But these babies have been through enough already, why take their eyesight?

We are asking for the public’s help to raise funds, because in the state of the world, where we currently receive upwards of 3-5 owner surrender requests each day, plus pleas to save dogs from euthanasia, having to go on intake hold is absolutely terrifying to us. 💔

We are not expecting to raise $8,000 by next week, but every bit helps. We hate saying “no” to the animals that need us most, but thats imminent if we cannot raise a portion of these surgery costs. 💔

🎉 LUDO HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!! 🎉

Remember our sweet Ludo? The scared young boy who was found running the streets, unsure of where he belonged?

Well… HE FOUND HIS PEOPLE. 🥹🖤

Ludo came into rescue a little unsure of the world, but it didn’t take long for him to show us the goofy, playful, affectionate lover boy hiding underneath that initial shyness. From fetch games to following his people from room to room, Ludo quickly became the ultimate velcro pup—and now he gets to do all of that with his FOREVER FAMILY. 🏡🐾

His journey may not have started the way anyone hoped, but we’re so grateful it led him here. His difficult start lead him straight to us so he could find the home that was the right fit for him, and today, Ludo’s next chapter begins. ❤️

No more wondering where he belongs.
No more waiting.
No more looking for his people.

Ludo is HOME. 🥹

❤️ MEET ROCCO 🐾

Rocco is a 4-year-old Miniature Schnauzer who is sweet, timid, loving, playful, and—once he decides you’re safe—an absolute little lunatic. 😂❤️

He may be shy at first, but once he warms up, the rodeo begins! Rocco loves zooming after his favorite stuffies, following his people around the house, making the cutest little noises, and showing off his adorable little hitch in his giddyup. 🥹

He’s potty trained, walks beautifully on leash, LOVES his nighttime walks, and is happy to sleep in his crate. He also loves his toys and is a true gentleman with them—no stuffie casualties here! 🧸😂

Rocco does need a little help in the grooming department. He needs monthly grooming and regular brushing, although he’d prefer to negotiate the brushing portion of the deal. 😉

He’s still getting to know his feelings about other dogs. He seems to do well with female dogs, while his opinions on males are still under review, so he may be happiest as your one-and-only.

Once the zoomies are over, Rocco is happiest curled up in a lap, sleeping like a tiny baby angel. ❤️

❤️ MEET CORY ❤️

Some dogs go through the unthinkable and still choose to love—and Cory is one of those special boys. 🥹

After being terrified by fireworks, Cory ran for his life and was struck by a car, leaving him with a broken pelvis. He was saved during his final hours and, with plenty of rest, care, and patience, has been given the chance to heal and start over. ❤️

And somehow, through it all, Cory’s heart has stayed incredibly soft. He is sweet, quiet, gentle, and happiest when he’s right beside his person—preferably curled up in a lap! 🥰

Cory gets along with everyone he meets, rides wonderfully in the car, isn’t yappy, and has the calmest, most loving personality. Toys aren’t really his thing; his favorite pastime is simply being with his people.

We think Cory would be an amazing companion for someone looking for a mellow little lap dog. A calm home with someone who enjoys a quieter lifestyle would be right up his alley. 🐾

A few things his future family should know: Cory does mark indoors, but washable belly bands help manage it and will go home with him. He has also developed a habit of frequently chasing and pestering the cat in his current foster home. While it doesn’t appear aggressive, we believe a cat-free home would be the best fit for Cory.

After everything this little guy has survived, he deserves nothing less than a soft place to land, a safe home, and someone who will cherish him for the rest of his life. ❤️
