We had an amazing week at TVR Camp. From morning quiet devotional time to huddle times to sessions with amazing worship and speakers, plus tons of free time activities and super fun special event nights, camp was a week we will not soon forget. Thank you for letting us join you on the bus and for all the relationships we were able to build and thank you for a truly memorable week.

Our next Summer Shenanigan- Beach Night- is this Friday night. We will have pizza and just spend the evening hanging out and having fun together down at the beach. Please be sure to register at anona.com/youthevents to ensure have enough room on the buses. New Medical Release Forms are required this summer, so we will have a notary available at check-in.

Last day of camp. It’s hard to believe the week’s over already. Our last day was just as full as all the others. The boys’ cabin (the Anona boys and the St Paul boys were in the same cabin) went tubing this afternoon. Then this evening, there was the end of week dinner and carnival, followed by the rodeo, the presentation of the Campers of the Week (which our very own Lyla won for the Green team!), ice cream sundaes, and ending with the campfire. It truly was an amazing week. Heading home not-so-bright and early tomorrow morning!

It’s hard to believe it’s already Thursday! We have had an amazing week so far and today was no different. However, there was a little less free time this afternoon as it was Slop-a-roo Day! The groups dressed in themes for an epic shaving cream fight! Our students chose to all wear pajamas while our leaders, along with those from St Paul, were the two teams from the movie Dodgeball. By the end of Slop-a-roo our students were virtually unrecognizable. BUT they had a blast!

Another busy day at camp! Our students had tons of fun competing in The Games this afternoon, but have also been spending a lot of time learning their verses for the week and enjoying our large group worship times. Here are a few videos for a peek into what some of today’s sessions looked like. AND, the St. Paul/Anona high school boys’ cabin won the Golden Toilet Clean Cabin Award this morning so got to move to the front of the line at lunch and dinner!

Yesterday was our first FULL camp day and we had an amazing time. From cabin clean up to morning session to afternoon free time, huddle times, evening session, and the late night Viva la Glowche, it was a full, fun day. But the highlight was the girls’ cabins tuning trips. All of our girls had an awesome time, but the middle school girls got a little extra wet as it rained our whole way down the river. Everyone should have slept really well last night. And Camp Day 3 has already begun!
