The crews are getting their tools, gear, and themselves ready for the second Hitch after a much deserved 3 days rest! Lets check out what they accomplished.

Crew One was in Buffalo for our annual Devon Energy project, continuing a 19-year partnership with the organization. With support from Devon, the crew addressed wildlife water issues by constructing two guzzlers on remote BLM land! These guzzlers provide water sources for wildlife, specifically elk, helping to increase their habitat utilization as well as prevent transmission of communicable diseases on rangeland. (Photos 1-4)

Crew Two spent their hitch at Hot Springs State Park in Thermopolis, adding some color to the park by planting multiple flower species in beds along the road and inside the state park. The crew then headed to Legend Rock to work on a buck-and-rail fence, guiding visitors away from ancient petroglyphs! (Photos 5-7)

The Vet Crew kicked off their first hitch at Guernsey State Park, where they restored two trails and felled numerous hazard trees along the paths! (Photos 8-10)

We are incredibly proud of the work our crews have done so far! Stay tuned for more from Hitch Two!
