Do you remember Jasmine? ❤️😍

Two days. That’s how close Jasmine was to being euthanized. She had been labeled human aggressive. Dog aggressive. A danger. A dog who supposedly had reached the end of the road. We pulled her just two days before she was scheduled to die. And now look at her. ❤️

Family photos. Kids wrapped around her. Walks together. Halloween sweaters. Pregnancy announcements. A real life. This is the part of dog training and rescue that weighs so heavily on us.

We will never claim every dog can or should be saved. Some cases are heartbreaking and genuinely unsafe. But we also believe we have to be incredibly careful about deciding a dog is beyond help simply because one training philosophy has run out of options. Sometimes the limitation is not the dog.

And with Jasmine, we truly believe God had other plans. He put her in our path at exactly the right time. He gave us the opportunity to say yes when her clock was almost out, and He carried her from a kennel marked for euthanasia into a family where she is loved, included, trusted, and very clearly home. God said Jasmine deserved the chance to show us who she could become.

And thanks to Him, she got it and she’s thriving! 🥹❤️ We are so happy for you Jasmine!!!

Welcome to the 12:10 family, Sunday. ☀️🐾

This sweet girl came to us today from Detroit, and her whole world just changed.

We’re told Sunday has spent her entire life inside and had never even been outside before today. She didn’t have a name. She’s timid with people and very hand shy, and right now she’s trying to figure out what this whole big world—and all these new people—are about.

She met one of her resident foster brothers today and absolutely LOVES him. She’s also currently living with another 12:10 foster, Gibbs, so between the two of them, we have a feeling these boys are going to teach this girl how to dog pretty quickly. 🥹 We’ll introduce her to the rest of the crew slowly and let Sunday set the pace.

In just her first few hours, she’s already had a bath, eaten a good meal, drank some water, felt grass under her feet, made a new dog friend and started learning that maybe people can be pretty okay too. 🧡

And then there’s her name. 🥹

She came to us without one, so we wanted her first real name to mean something.

Sunday. A new week. A fresh start. A day of rest, hope and renewal. A reminder that yesterday doesn’t get to decide what comes next. And Sunny for short—because we’re hoping that’s exactly what life looks like from here on out for this girl: a whole lot brighter. ☀️

We don’t know exactly what Sunday’s story will look like yet. What we do know is that from this point forward, she gets patience. She gets kindness. She gets good food, warm beds, dog friends, time to decompress and all the love she needs while she learns that hands can be gentle and the world doesn’t have to be scary.

She came to us without even a name.

Tonight, she has one. 🥹

Welcome to 12:10 K9 Rescue, Sunday—our Sunny girl. ☀️🐾🧡

It’s go time, sweet girl.

We’ve got you.

🐾 WELCOME TO THE 12:10 FAMILY, GIBBS! 🐾

This little guy’s story took a turn for the better today. 🧡

Gibbs was rescued in Flint, made his way to Genesee County Animal Control, and today he officially joined the 12:10 K9 Rescue family! 🥹🐶

He’s only about 10 weeks old, but don’t let that little face fool you — this boy is SMART! He’s hanging out with a temporary foster for a couple of days and has already learned “sit.” 👏🏼

For now, Gibbs is going to spend a little time settling in, getting lots of love, and learning what it feels like to be safe and cared for.

🚨 Gibbs is NOT available for adoption just yet — but he will be soon!

Welcome to the family, sweet boy. Your next chapter starts now. 🧡🐾

THANK YOU TO OUR COMMUNITY FOR YOUR GENEROUS SUPPORT!!

Recently, you may have seen a post going around requesting item donations as we were running low. We weren’t sure what kind of response we would receive, so what happened next completely blew us away. Tons of donations came in from all over, and our shelves are now stocked with so many of the things our dogs need! Bedding, collars, leashes, treats, toys, food, grooming supplies, and more. Every single item makes a difference and helps us continue putting our resources directly toward the dogs in our care.🙏

A huge THANK YOU to every single person who donated, shared the post, reached out, or helped spread the word. We also want to give a special shoutout to Great Lakes Dog Rescue for hearing that we were in need and stepping up to help a fellow rescue. - They provided us with a generous variety of supplies, and we appreciate their kindness and willingness to support another organization doing this work.💛 This was a really great reminder of what can happen when a community comes together. We are incredibly grateful for the support behind us and for everyone who helps us continue caring for these dogs!!💞🐾

**At this point, we have replenished what we were running low on, so we are no longer in need of additional items at this time. (We do still have a few pickups that were already arranged, and we are absolutely grateful for those. We simply don't want anyone else to feel like they need to go out of their way to gather more for us.)

Thank you again from all of us at 12:10 K9 Rescue!

DOODLE LOVERS - WHERE ARE YOU?!!🐩🐩Ben is waiting!!

🐩Poodle mix
🏡House-trained, kennel-trained
🐶Great with other dogs
❔Cats and children are unknown at this time
💉Up to date on vaccines, HW negative
✅Will be microchipped and neuter is scheduled
💲Foster-to-adopt; adoption fee will be $250
📍Located in Lapeer County, MI

Ben has an enormous heart and so much love to give.💙 His favorite thing in the world is being close to his people, especially if it means giving one of his signature gentle hugs. He's incredibly affectionate with goofy, enthusiastic energy and does wonderfully with other dogs - he's very tolerant and enjoys canine companionship.

Before coming into our care, Ben had a difficult start to life... He was underweight, suffering from significant skin and coat issues, and desperately in need of medical care and compassion. His coat is starting to recover, and every day he looks and feels a little more like the dog he was always meant to be.🤗

Prior to us, Ben was unfortunately recommended for behavioral euthanasia. Thankfully, our trainer saw the dog Ben truly was beneath everything he'd been through. Given time to decompress with structure and guidance, Ben has shown just how eager he is to learn and how deeply he wants to connect with people. He responds well to training - he's making great progress and listens well when redirected. We've identified some resource guarding that we're addressing, and Ben has been responsive to guidance.

Ben is available as a foster-to-adopt.🏡The foster period is free and gives everyone the opportunity to ensure it's the right fit while we continue supporting his success. If you're looking for a dog with endless love to give and you're willing to continue helping him become the very best version of himself, Ben just might be your perfect match!
