Happy Spring! Work continues on the Historic Courthouse!

We wanted to share a few updates on the Historic Courthouse.
Work on the floors has begun! We can’t wait to see the final results!
Also, recently, Historic Courthouse member and employee of Lapeer County Buildings and Parks department Jillian Clark won a $5,000 award for the Historic Courthouse from LCCF! Thank you Jillian for all you do!

Thank you for helping decorate the courthouse This past Saturday.

Dale Barns, Jim Maloney, Steve Powers, Neda Payne, Doug Koller and Gary Dixon. This crew came out on Saturday to get the job done..

It looks great and it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Friends of the Lapeer Historic Courthouse packing up the pictures, books and historic displays getting ready for the major renovation starting April 1st.

Jill Lyons (Center for the Arts), Brad Haggadon (County Commissioner), Rex Ziebarth (Attorney -Lapeer Bar Association) and Phil Fulks (Attorney - Lapeer Bar Association).

We made a big dent in the packing task. One floor almost completed!

Less than a week away from the Gala! The food list from Scottie’s looks incredible. Some of our amazing silent auction items are coming in as well: an afternoon with Sheriff McKenna and a 150$ color and cut/Amika treatment from Studio M! Much more to be posted early next week.
