North Penn United A grassroots group dedicated to the improvement of the North Penn School District.

A new grassroots group dedicated to the improvement of the North Penn School District has emerged from the chaos caused by falling test scores, increased physical and emotional violence and general degradation of the school environment

We educate and serve the community by identifying and supporting school board candidates who will restore balance to the board. We will elect a board with district wide representation that reflects the community.

• A board that produces well rounded citizens
• A board that will focus on the educational value of cultural and social norms to promote a positive school environment
• A board that delivers fiscal, project and program transparency
• A board that make every decision with respect to the children
• A board that is open to discussion and debate
• A board that will prioritize school safety
• A board that recognizes the primacy of parents and the secondary role of school in children’s lives
• A board that will instill in the school staff the desire to educate not indoctrinate
• A board that displays the same critical thinking skills we desire for our children
• A board that enriches the community
• A board that embraces the role of service to the community

Our elected School Board represents the parents, students, and taxpayers of this community. What steps will they take to get answers, address any failures, and make sure this never happens again?

As our elected representatives, what steps are you taking to address the concerns surrounding the hiring of former district security director Brandon Rhone?

The community deserves to know whether his publicly stated police experience was verified, whether proper hiring procedures were followed, and who will be held accountable if failures occurred.

We are asking the Board to look into these concerns, provide answers to the community, and explain what measures will be taken to ensure this does not happen again.
