Our American Legion family is coming together to support Vincent Pillinger, the son of Evan and Dana Pillinger, who tragically lost everything in a devastating house fire last Thursday.

In an instant, Vincent lost his home, belongings, and so many personal memories no one can replace. During times like these, we are reminded that the strength of our Legion family is found in standing beside one another when it matters most.

We ask our community to keep Vincent, Evan, and Dana in your thoughts and prayers as they begin the difficult process of rebuilding. If you are able to help in any way — through donations, gift cards, clothing, household essentials, or by simply sharing this post — your kindness and support will make a tremendous difference.

Please help us show the Pillinger family that they are not facing this tragedy alone. Together, we can help lift them up and remind them that this community stands strong beside them.

Hello from the Pillinger family. Today we are organizing a fundraiser f… Dana Pillinger needs your support for Help Vincent Rebuild After Bristol Borough Fire

***Updated with festivities still happening***

While the American Legion Post 148 Memorial Day Parade 2026 is cancelled due to rain.

The ceremony will still take place at the AME Church on the corner of Pine St and Flowers Ave at 0900.

The post will still be hosting 1030 hotdogs and beverages.

The Langhorne Borough will be selling 250 years swag at the American Legion at 1100.

Out of respect for the safety of our community and participants, the American Legion Memorial Day Parade has been canceled.

Though the parade will not march this year, the meaning of Memorial Day remains as strong as ever.

Today, we honor the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who gave their lives defending this nation and the freedoms we hold dear. Their sacrifice is the foundation of the liberty we enjoy every day, and their courage will never be forgotten.

As flags wave across our town and families gather together, let us remember those who paid the ultimate price for America. May we pause in gratitude, reflect on their service, and keep their memory alive in our hearts.

The American Legion thanks our community for its continued patriotism and support as we stand united in remembrance of our fallen heroes.

God Bless our Gold Star families, our veterans, and the United States of America.
