Yesterday didn’t go the way we had planned. We were thrown a curveball and, unfortunately, weren’t able to host our 5th Annual Golf Outing as scheduled.

But what happened instead reminded us exactly why this community means so much to us.

To everyone who still came out, showed up for our family, supported our foundation, joined us for lunch, participated in our auctions and raffles, and simply stood beside us — thank you.

The love in that room was felt by all of us.

Your constant support, dedication, generosity, and love are things we will never take for granted. You continue to show up for Elle, for our family, and for every child and family facing DIPG — and we appreciate it more than you will ever truly know.

A canceled round of golf will never stop this mission.

We will keep fighting for Elle. We will keep fighting for better treatments, more research, and a future where children diagnosed with DIPG are given the chance to live.

And we WILL get everyone back out on that golf course. 💜

Our 5th Annual Golf Outing will be rescheduled for this spring, and we cannot wait to bring everyone together again.

Due to the course conditions, we made the difficult decision to cancel today’s golf outing.

While we’re disappointed that we won’t be able to golf today, we still hope you’ll join us at Spring Mill Country Club. The ballroom will remain open for lunch, our silent auction, raffles, and a chance for all of us to still come together and support Elle’s Angels Foundation.

Today may look a little different than we planned, but the mission remains the same — coming together to support DIPG research and the families facing this devastating diagnosis.

The golf outing will be rescheduled for a later date this spring, and we’ll share those details as soon as they’re finalized.

As we continue to honor Ryder on his birthday and angel anniversary, we’re reminded of just how lasting his impact continues to be.

Ryder touched so many lives, and that love continues to show up in beautiful ways. His very special friend Everett recently held a bake sale in Ryder’s honor and raised an incredible $800 for DIPG research.

It’s such a powerful reminder that Ryder’s life continues to inspire kindness, generosity, and hope. His legacy is still making a difference — through the people who love him, remember him, and continue to carry his name forward.

Ryder, you are deeply loved, always remembered, and forever making an impact. And Everett, you are truly incredible. Your kindness, generosity, and love for Ryder are making such a meaningful difference. 🌻

Today we remember and honor Ryder Knechtle on his angel anniversary.

Yesterday was Ryder’s birthday, making these two days especially meaningful for his family and everyone who knew and loved him.

Ryder and Elle first met while they were both undergoing radiation at Penn in Philadelphia. None of us could have imagined then the bond that would grow between our families or the lasting impact Ryder would have on so many people.

Ryder was so much more than DIPG. He was a deeply loved son, a friend, and a little boy whose life continues to leave a mark on this world.

His parents have done such an incredible job keeping Ryder’s spirit alive and turning their love for him into something that brings people together and makes a difference. Each year, his family hosts RyderFest—a beautiful celebration of Ryder’s life and legacy that raises funds that go directly toward critical DIPG research. It is a powerful reminder of who Ryder was, how deeply he is loved, and how his legacy continues to bring hope to other families facing this devastating disease.

Today we hold Ryder’s family close, remember his smile, celebrate the life he lived, and honor the impact he continues to have.

Happy heavenly birthday, Ryder. We will always remember you, always speak your name, and always be grateful that our paths crossed. 🌻
