Our U9 Girls finished off their Fall season as FINALISTS at the OCL Tournament over the weekend! 🥈⭐️
They started out strong with 3 wins, but unfortunately fell short with a tough 3-2 loss in the final match up on Sunday. They showed grit and determination until the bitter end, and they still have a lot to be proud of! 💪🏻👏🏻

Overall, they finished the season with an 11-2-1 record. The girls have come a long way from their first practice to the final whistle this weekend. Coach Nick and Coach Jeff are proud of the continued growth and adaptability each girl has shown throughout the season! Until next season…GO UNITED 🩵💙⚽️

The U12 boys had a busy weekend with 3 league games.

We finished last weekend 2 – 1 with some great team play in all games.

We started out last Friday night with a 6 – 2 win over Dublin United. We gave up a quick goal, but that woke us up. We soon took the lead and didn’t look back.

Saturday, we played a talented PFC team. They were very technical with their passing and positioning. They went up early, we tied it, but they PFC went up 3 – 1. We fought hard and tied the game at 3 late in the second half. PFC got one late and we just couldn’t get another one in to tie it up. What we may lack in some passing and positioning was replaced with all out effort and no quit attitude.

Sunday, we traveled to Sporting Columbus in New Albany. We again gave up an early goal but got one in to tie it before halftime. The boys kept at it and after several close ones, we finally found the back of the net for the second time. Sporting worked hard, but we fought them off until the final whistle.

The boys continue to develop their skills. We have players talking on the field, showing their leadership, and using terms we talk about at every practice. We have three subs and no matter who is on the bench, they are always asking to get back into the game. The coaches are working to make sure new players are taking free kicks and corners – those players are taking on the new responsibilities very well. The back line is cheering on the front line and vice versa. All good stuff by this group of young men. Keep it up. Go United!

The u13 girls played some fierce soccer last weekend with two wins on their home field.

Saturday they took a 1-0 win against LCFC and Sunday they finished with a 2-0 victory over Elite FC. The LSSA girls stayed relentless all weekend from strikers all the way back to defense, talking through each play and showcasing their skills as an entire team. They are such a fun team to watch. The girls pick up play again Saturday at Spindler.
