Help the Fairfield County 4-H Junior Leaders fill the freezers of our local food pantries. During the Fill the Pantry Contest, cash donations will be accepted to purchase frozen meat from Bay's Food Market which will be donated to local pantries for distribution. Donations must be received by October 15, 2026. All donations are tax deductible and your name and logo will be displayed in the 4-H Display Barn during the fair. Attention swine exhibitors!

💥 Read whole post for arrival and weigh-in procedures! 💥

𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬:
Arrival & Weigh-in for hogs is Saturday, October 10th from 𝟏𝐩𝐦-𝟓𝐩𝐦.
* Enter from SR 37 (N. High St) gate. Preferably so that you are making a right-hand turn into the gate.
* Proceed heading west to pull along side the north end of the Swine Barn. (green line)
* Access to scale will be at a north door on the Swine Barn.
* Hogs will be unloaded and weighed off the trailer. (yellow star)
* If tack still needs to be unloaded, you can do so AFTER hogs are unloaded from the trailer and at the west end of the building (pink star)
* To exit, use Columbus Street Gate. (follow red line)
* 𝐃𝐎 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐔𝐒𝐄 the Fair Avenue (Main Gate) on move-in day.

𝐖𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐢𝐧:
* When checking in, hogs must be declared for one exhibitor from the animals that were tagged in under the family name.
* Exhibitors with a purebred market hog MUST show a valid pedigree (in paper form) in the exhibitor’s name and the hog must meet the respective breed characteristics to show as that breed, otherwise, the animal will show as a crossbred.
* Take home forms must be filled out for EACH animal planned to be taken home and turned in while at the scales. Exhibitors will declare the animal being taken home (with full 840 number) at the at the conclusion of the show.
* Weight range is 225-295 pounds. There will be 𝐧𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐬 per General Rule 2!
