Community Theatre Project Drama Classes for teens and adults ages 15 and up. The weekly drama classes are every Thursday from 6:30 – 7:30. The classes, led by professional actress Christine DeLuca, introduce participants to basic acting skills through interactive activities, theatre games, skits, and working with scripts. DeLuca, who recently relocated to central Kentucky, has 28 years of work experience in television, theater, film, and live events.
Garrard Arts hopes to develop a community theater group of local residents of all ages to stage productions at Lancaster’s Grand Theatre. Anyone interested can register for the classes by telephoning 859-304-3057 or visit the Arts Center at 206 Lexington St., Lancaster KY during regular business hours - Tuesday - Friday: 10 AM - 5 pm; Saturday: 10 AM - 2 pm; Sunday & Monday – Closed.

Garrard Arts is sponsoring a Plein Air (Outdoor) Painting Contest on Saturday, June 20, 2026. If you own a scenic or historical house, barn, farm, or other property we could paint, please contact Garrard Arts at 859-304-3057 to provide details and give permission to visit on June 20.

Garrard Arts Little Kids Art Camp will be Monday, July 20 and Thursday, July 23 from 10 am to 12 noon at the Garrard Arts Center, 206 Lexington St., Lancaster, KY. Open to children Ages 4 - 9. Little Kids Art Camp is free to anyone with a Garrard Arts family membership; Non-Members cost is $10/day per child. Ask about our cost-saving memberships at just $45 per family.

This workshop will be so much fun. Bobbie Gayle Lewis, from the Garrard County Arts Council, will be there to lead the way. She is incredibly gifted and does such a great job teaching these workshops. This will be at the Garrard County Extension Office on June 15th, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. There is no cost.
