The Garrard County Arts Council is a non-profit organization, working to advance and enhance the arts in Lancaster and Garrard County, Kentucky and surrounding counties. Shop for locally crafted items, including paintings, doll clothing, aprons, toys, throws and more as well as custom Elmwood tea blends, books by local authors, and home decor.

Create a work of art representing your history for our upcoming contest theme - Remembering the Past. Where have you lived, who has influenced you, what makes you the person you are? Open to all ages and types of art including painting, photography, sculpture, or fiber art. Artwork is due no later than 4 pm, Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at the Garrard Arts Center, 206 Lexington St. Rules at garrardarts.org - Exhibits and Contests or call 859 304 3057 for more information.
