We offer four unique Programs: Medical Appointment Transportation, Adult Day Services, Ramp Construction, and a Medical Equipment Lending Closet. It's our goal that through these services, we are able to support individuals as they work toward a thriving life.

Our Adult Day Services (ADS) Program is celebrating National Beach Day on August 30! Whether we’re enjoying a little sunshine, making memories, or simply having fun together, our members know how to make every day an adventure.

At Fairfield Center for Independence, ADS is all about helping individuals live full, independent, and meaningful lives. We’re proud to create opportunities for our members to learn, grow, connect, and enjoy life, one fun-filled day at a time!

In 1975, a small group of concerned citizens came together with a simple but powerful goal: to make Fairfield County a better place for people with disabilities.

That grassroots effort became the Fairfield County Council for the Disabled, the foundation of what is now Fairfield Center for Independence.

What started with a handful of dedicated advocates has grown into more than 50 years of creating opportunities, promoting independence, and building a more inclusive community.

The Fairfield Center for Independence Medical Equipment Lending Library provides access to equipment like wheelchairs, walkers, and other helpful mobility resources at no cost to you.

In addition, FCI offers FREE adult diapers and pull-ups!

🎬🍿 That’s a wrap on a great Saturday Cinema series!

We’re so thankful to have been part of this summer tradition alongside Destination Downtown Lancaster. It’s been a pleasure getting to be part of these fun-filled evenings in downtown Lancaster.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported local, enjoyed a movie, and helped make each Saturday night such a success. We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of an event that brings our community together.
