OUR FOOTBALL BRACKETS ARE BACK AND SPOTS ARE FILLING ON THE SEASON PASS. GET SIGNED UP TODAY AND HELP THESE YOUNG WRESTLERS !!!

Starting a club takes a lot of resources. So We are only doing 5 OSU games this year. Just as in years past the payouts will be $200 for 1st - 3rd and $400 for 4th not final.

All proceeds will go to help our youth wrestlers exclusively.

So please see the schedule of games below and sign up today. $100 for the season or $20 per game.

Facility update from Coach Craiglow:

Mats have arrived from AK Athletics. More walls being built separating the wrestling area from strength and viewing. Wall padding going up and finishing up this week. Stay tuned for continued updates as signage and graphics begin. We are close to launching and breaking these mats in!

Lancaster Wrestling Alumni and our first state champ.

Ethan Reeve — 4x SEC champion, 2x All-American

In 1972, Ethan Reeve of Lancaster won the 145-pound Ohio state championship.

He then went on to wrestle for the University of Tennessee, where he had one of the best careers in Southeastern Conference (SEC) history.

As a freshman, Reeve won the SEC title at 150 pounds and was named the SEC freshman of the year.

The following year, he repeated as SEC champion, this time at 158 pounds, and was named the SEC’s Outstanding Wrestler.

In 1976, Reeve again won the SEC title, was named the Outstanding wrestler of the conference, and finished 5th at the NCAA tournament, becoming Tennessee’s first-ever All-American.

Reeve won another SEC title as a senior and went on to place 3rd at the NCAA tournament, finishing his career as a 4x SEC champion and 2x All-American.

After college, Reeve won the 1977 Maccabiah Games World Championship at 163 lbs.

Running this back in case we did not reach everyone. We are 7 followers short of 1,000. Let’s push this out one more time and get over this milestone. Previous views of this post have hit over 25,000 views. We grateful to live in a community that supports youth athletics and sees the benefit it can nurture in our kids and young adults. Bonus….as coaches we also get to continue to learn,grow, and develope which is what makes the deal even sweeter!

Take a look at our mat layout from AK Athletic Equipment. 1-5/8” thick high quality mats. 20 - 8’ circles. That’s room for at least 40 athletes at a time. The room will also be equipped with a 50’ turf lane for sled pushes, free weights, squat/bench racks and bands for wrestling specific workouts.

Our mission is clear : Create a space that enhances, advances, and unlocks each of our athletes potential. Building champions on and off the mat. Even more important than that, students, future community leaders,husbands,wives,
mothers and fathers, the list goes on….

Take quick look at what the vision is for the space.

Target opening date is middle/end August.
