The Three Waves Movement wouldn't really exist without Indigenous networks giving it some structure 🏗 These networks unite Indigenous churches & help them be a part of something bigger. 🤝

Across the Amazon and lowlands region, Indigenous leaders come together in each country to serve their communities. They decide their own path, while working alongside other churches & organizations (like us!) through the Three Waves Movement—sharing God’s life and hope with Indigenous peoples. ✝️

Over the summer, Operation World will be posting content to help people pray for the nations participating in the most-watched sports competition on Earth. There are also downloadable prayer cards linked in their post.

Only a few hours until the World Cup begins, and we are thrilled to share this prayer initiative with you!

Over the summer, we will be posting content to help people pray for the nations participating in the most-watched sports competition on Earth. Hundreds of millions of Christians will watch the World Cup, but only a fraction will pray for the countries competing. It is our desire to introduce more people to the joy and the privilege of lifting the nations up before the throne of God.

Think about who might you share this campaign with, and point them in the direction of these links and socials. On every day that there’s a match, we will be posting content encouraging people to pray.

Accompaniment is about *walking alongside*, not in front of or behind. It’s rooted in relationship, trust, and mutual learning.

What does it look like to accompany well? How do multicultural ministry partners walk alongside one another? What does it mean for an organization to accompany a network or a movement?

At Alteco, this looks like:
• Listening before acting
• Collaborating with leaders
• Facilitating resources in response to shared discernment
• Making space for Indigenous voices to be heard and honored
• Joining what God is already doing in & through the local Church

New research surveyed mission leaders about what prepared their missionaries for the field. One course came up again and again: Perspectives on the World Christian Movement. Here's what those leaders said:

- 94% said it INSPIRED their missionaries
- 93% said it EQUIPPED them
- 90% said it was CRUCIAL to long-term missionary success

This is not a Bible college. It's a 15-week discipleship course available to anyone in the church.

If you're leading a church with people called to global service, or if you're curious whether your faith should have a larger footprint, this course is worth your time.

🙏🏽 Thank you for praying! Indigenous churches along the Inírida River in Colombia warmly welcomed Three Waves Movement ministry partners, and the past couple of weeks have been filled with mutual encouragement. Praise God! 🙌🏽

🌴⛪🌴 Please continue to pray for the strengthening of these connections and relationships, for the health of the churches, and for safe travels for our ministry partners as they journey home.
