Individuals & organizations partnering to accompany & disciple the indigenous Church of the Amazon & lowlands regions of South America as they reach the unreached with the Gospel ALTECO is a broad partnership of Christian individuals and organizations that focus on the empowerment and holistic development of the 400+ tribal nations of the Amazon basin and lowlands of South America (the “green window”). In response to continuous interaction with key tribal leaders from the ten countries of the green window region, ALTECO strives to enhance sustainable progress in areas of spiritual guidance, education, health, human rights, economic development, and capacity building. We also assist tribal leaders in forming their own networks and infrastructures, so they can better coordinate their leadership resources and assume greater responsibility and autonomy. As catalysts and facilitators, we support and strengthen genuine tribal initiatives that contribute to the broad and balanced goals of the tribal leadership we partner with across South America.
