Just days ago, a local family in Toms River lost everything in a devastating house fire.

The fire started in their son’s room while he was at school. Maryann woke up to smoke filling the home and had to be rescued by a neighbor. By the time firefighters arrived, the house was already fully engulfed.

Maryann was airlifted to the hospital and is now stable in the ICU.

Her son Garret and young grandson are safe, but they’re left with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Their family dog also needs care and support.

This is a family that has always been there for others… now they need the community.
