Full Day Planning Calls For FullTime Comfort 💙☕

Last week the Health Services Team traded business casual for pajama pants during our annual planning meeting and it fit the vibe perfectly.

Behind the cozy clothes is a team of dedicated and compassionate Ryan White Case Managers who work every day to support our clients, solve problems, and create meaningful change in our community.

Grateful for a team that can balance hard work, heart, collaboration, and a little fun along the way. Proud to do this work together. ✨

We're proud to be a beneficiary of the Elton John Impact Awards – a powerful new platform celebrating the icons, legends and trailblazers shaping a more inclusive world in support of the LGBTQ+ community. 🌈

Because of this support and visibility from the Elton John Impact Awards, Procter & Gamble and The Looking Out Foundation, we are able to advance our critical work at Compass Community Center – including mental health services and support groups, HIV prevention, testing and case management, and youth programming serving Palm Beach County's LGBTQ+ community.

This year's honorees – including Jonathan Bailey, Laverne Cox, Melissa Etheridge, Billie Jean King, Orville Peck and Chappell Roan – have driven change, shaped culture and made a positive impact on society. Together, we celebrate their contributions while continuing the work to build a more equal future for LGBTQ+ communities everywhere.

Come hang out with us at Sewing Sesh on Saturday, May 30 from 2:30–4:30 PM at Compass Community Center! Fashion designer Dani Greenberg will be sharing tips, skills, and creative inspiration for beginners and experienced sewists alike.

Bring your ideas, meet new people, and spend the afternoon creating something that feels like you. ✨

May 22nd is Harvey Milk Day

Today we remember and honor the life of Harvey Milk—a trailblazer, community leader, and the first openly gay elected official in California.

Harvey Milk believed in something simple but powerful: that everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, and fully seen in their community. He fought for public education, affordable childcare, and equal rights at a time when doing so took real courage.

Even though his life was cut short, his impact never was. His legacy continues through the ongoing work of the Harvey Milk Foundation, founded by his nephew Stuart Milk, which carries forward his message of equality and justice.

Harvey Milk Day exists so we don’t forget. So lets keep sharing his story, and keep pushing forward against discrimination in all its forms.

Compass in the Community! 🧭💙

We believe healthy communities start with healthy people and that meant showing up for at their Employee Wellness Fair! Connecting with the dedicated city employees who make this community run, right on the shores of the Lake Worth Beach Casino. 🌊☀️

Over 150 city employees came together to invest in their wellbeing, and we were honored to be part of that journey.
