Today, some of our Chapter 48 Riders had the pleasure of visiting Honor Flight Long Island to present the proceeds from our recent Long Island Ducks Baseball Ticket Raffle.
A big THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the raffle and helped make this donation possible. Once again, your support is helping us give back to the veterans who have given so much for all of us.
This donation will help support the upcoming Fall Honor Flight on Saturday, September 26th, departing from and returning to MacArthur Airport.
We encourage everyone to check out Honor Flight Long Island and see how you can participate or come out and show your support for these deserving veterans.

We would like to congratulate American Legion Post 651 on celebrating their 100th Anniversary and a century of being a proud staple of the Sayville community.
Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this special milestone celebration and for the outstanding hospitality shown to us. We had a great time and truly enjoyed sharing in the festivities with everyone.
Congratulations on 100 years of service, tradition, and commitment to veterans and the Sayville community. Here’s to the next 100!

The AMVETS Convention ended Saturday in Orlando, but our Sgt-at-Arms decided to stick around a little longer. We thank Post 2006 in Leesburg Florida, for their hospitality.
