The 2026 NYS AMVETS Convention is in the books.

After faithfully serving as our State President, Howard G. has stepped down to assume new responsibilities within our organization and continue helping to move AMVETS forward.
Chapter 48 extends its sincere appreciation and gratitude to Howard for his leadership, dedication, and commitment to veterans and his riders throughout the Department of New York. We wish him continued success in his new role and look forward to his continued contributions to AMVETS and the veterans we serve.
Thank you, Howard, for your service, friendship, and unwavering dedication to our mission.

We would like to congratulate our new NYS AMVETS Riders President, Cory I., and wish him much success as he leads our riders forward. Best wishes, Cory, and thank you for stepping up to serve.
