Our goal is to enrich campers’ lives with activities that are exciting, fun, empowering, safe, and medically sound. When a child leaves Double H, he or she goes home with memories that are impervious to illness – experiences that are relived, cherished, and passed on to others. But it’s not only the children who revel in the joy of camp: It’s also their parents. Indeed, the entire community benefits from knowing that there is something, however small, that we can do for kids who need it most. The camp, sprung from the vision of just 2 men, has grown to include seasonal programs that annually serve over 2,000 children and their families. And with the dedication of our volunteers and donors, there’s no telling how many lives we can touch, how many stories we can inspire, or how many dreams we can make come true.

What a night! ✨ This past Saturday, Double H Ranch welcomed an incredible community of supporters to our Heart of Gold Gala at The Great Escape.

The evening celebrated the impact of our year-round programs, provided completely free of charge to children and families living with serious and chronic illnesses, and the growing need for all that Double H has to offer.

We were proud to honor DeCrescente Distributing Co for their longstanding commitment to and partnership with Double H Ranch.

Some of our Team Double H runners hit the pavement last weekend to take on the iRun LOCAL Saratoga Half Marathon. Daniel, Jeff, Lindsay, and Kate, our very own Double H Marketing and Communications Director, all braved an absolute downpour with smiles on their faces—dodging puddles and putting in the miles for our campers 🙌

In six weeks, Team Double H will be conquering the TCS New York City Marathon on November 1st. As of today, they’re 80% of the way to their team goal of $50K to support year-round programs for campers and families at Double H Ranch. At 12 years old, Samuel took a leap of faith on the zip line at Double H Ranch. In it, he found a “dignity of risk” that his life with a rare genetic neurological condition rarely allowed—the freedom to try, to fall, and to get right back up, knowing the on-site medical team was there the whole time. Now an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, he reflects on the confidence he gained from camp that’s stayed with him ever since.

The 37th Annual Adirondack Nationals Car Show rolls into Lake George September 10–13, bringing nearly 1,500 classic cars, hot rods, and muscle cars to the Village for an unforgettable weekend.
