Today marks April’s last day before retirement, and our members wanted the chance to share just how much she means to them. From the smiles and laughs to the kindness, patience, and care, April has made a lasting impact on so many lives here at New Horizons.

Our members have made countless memories with April, and today is all about celebrating HER and saying THANK YOU for everything she has done and for simply being amazing! 🥰

☀️Saturday, September 5 is the Havasu All Abilities Resource Fair at the Aquatic Center. 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

All Abilities refers to those with cognitive and physical disabilities of all ages.

🎉This is a free event to the community. Come meet local resources and each other! We will also have giveaways , a sensory room co-sponsored by Calvary Church and Milemarkers, snacks provided by Sunrise Rotary Club, and over 50 vendors of resources.

🤩Special guests include Alyssa Tudor who is a Rodeo Queen/barrel racer and hasn’t let being in a wheelchair stop her from doing these things, Havasu Jet Ski Racer Ryder Bliss , and another special guest announcing soon!

The Havasu All Abilities Resource Fair is shaping up to be exciting for Lake Havasu families. The events are, Sept. 4th at LHHS, and Sept. 5th at the Aquatic Center. They will offer resources, entertainment, guest speakers and more.

A HUGE thank you to Yogurt Paradise LHC for the delicious treats and wonderful hospitality! 💕 What better way to cool down on a hot Lake Havasu day than with some refreshing frozen yogurt!🍨

Our members had such a great time picking out their favorite flavors and toppings, spending time with friends, and enjoying a sweet treat together. It’s outings like these that bring so many smiles, laughs, and special moments! 😊

🇺🇸❤️ A VERY SPECIAL FIND! ❤️🇺🇸

Today brought an extra special moment for one of our members! While out in the community, she spotted a familiar face proudly displayed along McCulloch Blvd...Her brother!! Who is currently serving in the military! 🇺🇸

You can only imagine the excitement and pride she felt seeing her brother’s military banner hanging right here in Lake Havasu! Moments like this remind us just how meaningful family is and how proud we are of the brave men and women who serve our country.

We loved getting to share this special moment with her and, of course, had to stop for a picture with her brother! ❤️🤍💙

🎉🎂 HAPPY 86TH BIRTHDAY, LEO! 🎂🎉

Today we had the honor of celebrating a very special guy!

From everyone at New Horizons, we want to wish Leo an incredible 86th Birthday! ❤️ And what better way to celebrate than with a birthday BBQ surrounded by friends, family, laughter, and lots of love!

Leo holds such a special place in the hearts of everyone at New Horizons. Every time our members get the chance to hang out with him, you can count on plenty of smiles, laughs, hugs, and unforgettable moments. The love our members have for Leo and the love he gives right back, is truly something special. 💙

We were also so happy to have Leo’s family come down to celebrate with him and make his big day even more meaningful. There’s nothing better than being surrounded by the people who love you most!
