Special thanks to all those who shared the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe and promoted respect for life by participating in our Silver Rose Prayer Service on Sunday, September 29, 2024. This meaningful pilgrimage demonstrates the unity between Knights of Columbus in Canada, the United States and Mexico, through a series of prayer services promoting the dignity of all human life and honoring Our Lady. Each year, from early March through mid-December, Silver Roses are stewarded by Knights of Columbus councils along routes from Canada to Mexico. Every stop the Silver Rose makes throughout the pilgrimage is a rosary-centered occasion for Knights, parishioners and community members to pray for respect for life, for the spiritual renewal of each nation, and for the advancement of the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

This particular rose pictured here was transferred to Grand Knight Jose Gabriel Ramirez of Lake Havasu City St. Thomas More Council 6442 from Silver Rose Chairman Jerry Fong of a California State Council. It was then transferred to Grand Knight Ken Salemi of Mesa Christ the King Council 3419. From there it will continue its route visiting multiple parishes until it reaches its final destination in Mexico in December.
