Every year, nearly 20,000 American horses are shipped across our borders to slaughter.
Let that sink in.
These aren’t just old or unwanted horses. They are former champions, trusted trail partners, beloved family horses, broodmares, young horses with their whole lives ahead of them, and even foals. Many end up in the slaughter pipeline because of financial hardship, neglect, changing circumstances, or simply because they no longer have someone willing to care for them.
This is why Grace and Grit Ranch exists.
Our dream isn’t just to own a ranch—it’s to build a place where horses get a second chance. A place where the forgotten are restored, the broken are healed, and lives are transformed—both human and equine.
We’re working hard to build Grace and Grit Ranch into a safe haven where we can begin rescuing horses from the slaughter pipeline, rehabilitating them, and giving them the life they deserve. Every fence we build, every pasture we prepare, every dollar we raise, and every supporter who joins this mission brings us one step closer to opening our gates to horses that desperately need a future.
We may not be able to save them all, but every horse we rescue is one less horse making that final ride.
❤️ Every share spreads awareness.
❤️ Every donation helps build a future for rescued horses.
❤️ Every volunteer strengthens this mission.
❤️ Every prayer and every word of encouragement keeps us moving forward.
Together, we’re not just building a ranch—we’re building hope.
Because they were never “just a horse.”
They were always worth saving. 🐴🤍
