Yucca Community Food Pantry We are a Food Pantry that serves the citizens of Yucca and Mohave County. We are open every Tuesday and Friday from 12:00 - 5:00.

Please have ID ready for checking in when you arrive.

Today 9 years ago the food bank received it's first delivery from St. Mary's at the old fire station.

We will be requiring photo ID at check in every time you come into the pantry, to pick up groceries. If your a proxy and picking up for someone else we will need to see your photo ID.

DES is also phasing out the large family bags for families of 5 or more. When you receive your Emergency Box starting August 1st.
When we run out of the ones we have in stock we will no longer be able to get them.

The other changes effective August 1st:
Emergency Box counts have changed.
Family 1 - 5 = 1 emergency box
Family 6 - 10 = 2 emergency boxes
Family 11 or more = 3 emergency boxes

Senior Boxes remain the same 1 per senior in the household.

Income eligibility requirements haven't changed for either the Senior or Emergency Boxes.

We're open today from noon to 5pm. Please remember to bring your boxes back from last week to reuse.

There have been people coming in 2 times a week. This is only for those that have limited refrigeration (example only have a cooler or very small refrigerator).
We've had a lot of new neighbors sign up for the Yucca Community Food Pantry.
We want to make sure we have food for everyone.

We are a non-profit food pantry. Everyone that works here are volunteers even the Board of Directors. There are no paid employees at the Yucca Food Pantry.
We all love our Community and our neighbors.

We continue operating from the funds we receive from the donations, pledges and grants that we receive. We are not federally funded and appreciate everything we receive from our neighbors and grants.

There are pledge forms at the intake area when you check in. There is also a donation container next to the pledge forms. Pledges can be made from your banking account.

If you have any questions please ask me. I'm at the pantry on Tuesday and Friday's.

We are looking for volunteers to help at the Food Pantry. If you're looking to meet people and help in our community. Please stop by the Food Pantry on Tuesday or Friday between noon and 5pm to pick up an application.

We look forward to meeting interested volunteers. We also need help unloading the St. Mary's trucks. They come on Monday, Tuesday and Friday's.
They differ each week we know in advance when the trucks will be here. They normally arrive between 9am and 11am Subject to change. If you have any questions please message here. Thank you.

We will not be receiving any St. Mary's trucks again until July 10th due to the holiday. We will be open on Friday July 3rd for distribution.

Would everyone please pick up your senior box tomorrow Tuesday or Friday this week or you'll miss out on your April boxes. We would hate to send them back to St. Mary's if you need them.

Please bring back your empty boxes from last week. Have a great week everyone!

We are wanting to take some pictures tomorrow of our neighbors and volunteers for our Website and for the FaceBook Group/Page. Please let us know tomorrow if you are interested. We will need you to sign a waiver of release to use your photo on either site. We look forward to updating the Website and FaceBook Group/Page.

We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. Please pick up your senior boxes for the month of April and bring your boxes back from last week.
