Stations 1 and 6 came together for live fire training last week on Wednesday, utilizing the burn trailer from CVTC. Fire behavior, hydraulic ventilation, withstanding high temperatures, and water movement were trained on together as crews. 🔥🚒

B shift crews worked with a Mayo flight crew today when a call required a higher level of care. Mayo One was able to land in the Station 1 parking lot to meet the ambulance.

The training topic last night was water movement - how it moves through pumps, from truck to truck, into holding tanks, and through hoses. 🚒💧

Last Wednesday, Station 1 members started the process of everyone’s favorite annual task: hose testing! Every year we test every single segment of hose to check for leaks and functionality.
