🐾 Two years ago today, we introduced Two Furs Rescue to the world! 🐾

What started as a small group of animal lovers with a big idea has grown into something pretty special. We've rescued tiny, vulnerable kittens, celebrated countless adoptions, lost some battles, and learned a whole lot along the way.

We're still a small, all-volunteer, foster-based rescue, but thanks to our fosters, adopters, donors, and everyone who follows and shares our posts, we've been able to make a difference, one tiny kitten at a time. ❤️

Two years, lots of kittens, countless sleepless nights, and absolutely no regrets! 🐱

And we're just getting started! If you'd like to help us continue rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding loving homes for kittens in need, donations and items from our wish list are always appreciated. Sharing our posts, fostering, adopting, and cheering us on are meaningful ways to support us, too.

Every kitten deserves to be someone’s “we couldn’t leave without them.” ❤️

We have some wonderful kittens waiting for their forever homes, and a few of our older babies have been waiting longer than we ever expected. They’ve watched the tiny newcomers arrive, get all the attention, and head off to their new families while they’re still waiting for someone to choose them.

They may be a little bigger now, but they’re still kittens. Still playful. Still cuddly. Still full of personality. And still very much deserving of a family of their own.

Our kittens are adopted in pairs unless there is already another young kitty in the home, because growing up with a feline friend gives them a built-in playmate, companion and best friend. 🐾❤️

Our House of Hope Pet Food Pantry does incredible work helping Lake County families keep their pets fed and at home with the people who love them. Last year alone, they distributed more than 26,000 pounds of dry pet food and 9,551 cans of food.

Our Wags & Whiskers Pet Food Drive runs through September 30, so there’s still time to help!

Pick up a few cans or a bag of food, make a donation through our Zeffy link, or simply share this post with your friends and neighbors. Every little bit adds up.
