🚀 Final Day of Super Space Camp – Launch Day!

What an incredible week it has been! Today, our cadets put all their hard work into action as they launched the rockets they designed and built earlier this week. Seeing their excitement (and those rockets take flight!) was the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable camp. 🚀✨
We are so proud of each and every cadet for their creativity, teamwork, and willingness to learn throughout the week. From rockets, to craters to alien slime, we learned a lot about space and had a ton of fun doing it!

A huge thank you to The Continuum for hosting us and helping make Super Space Camp possible. Your support means the world to our program and our students.

And to our partners, volunteers, and families, and SPC Credit Union , who donated funds to help make this possible, thank you all for investing in these students and making this week such a success!

Until next year… keep reaching for the stars! 🌌

Keep on the look out for more photos and videos from camp, including many from launch day!

🚀 Days 3 & 4 of Super Space Camp are in the books!

Day 3:
Cadets dove into the world of physics, learning about energy and force, and then put that knowledge into action! Using giant slingshots, they defended Earth from an alien threat with water balloons! 💧👽

After the aliens were officially “cooled off,” cadets wrapped up the day by making their own alien slime, because what’s Super Space Camp without a little mess? 🧪✨

Day 4:
Cadets explored rockets and learned about the first astronauts in space. 🚀
They even built their own rockets, which they’ll be launching tomorrow for friends and family to see!

We can’t wait for launch day! 🚀🌟

🚀 Day 2 of Super Space Camp was a HUGE success!

Today, Jack’s Books took over Space Camp! 📚✨
Special thanks to Colton Cauthen (Owner) for teaching our cadets all about craters and how they’re formed.

The highlight? The cadets got hands-on experience by heading outside and creating their own impact zones, and yes… it got MESSY in the best way possible! 🌍💥

We’re so grateful to Jack’s Books and Colton for making today unforgettable.

If you haven’t already, go check them out—and be sure to tell them the aliens sent you! 👽

🚀 Super Space Camp – Day 1 was a HUGE success!

Today, our cadets stepped into the world of astronaut training! They learned how astronauts prepare to work under G-forces, experience zero gravity, and, most importantly, operate as a team.

To put their teamwork to the test, each group was challenged to build their own rocket 🚀 We had 6 teams, and they did an incredible job bringing their designs to life!

Now it’s your turn to get involved, community!

Like the photo or comment below with the rocket you think is the best. They are labeled by number to keep it fair. The team with the most votes will win a prize on Friday!

Let the countdown begin… which rocket will take the top spot? 🚀
