Vision

To become the primary source of economic empowerment for African Americans in Lake City,
South Carolina. Mission

Our mission is to support and promote Black-owned businesses, and devise strategies to improve
wealth disparities between African Americans and other ethnicities throughout the Greater Lake
City Area. LCBCC wil

l specifically work toward expanding economic empowerment in the
African American community by:
 Connecting entrepreneurs and business owners with resources and services to foster
organizational success.
 Hosting workshops and seminars on creating business plans, accessing capital and
funding, government contracting, financial independence, wealth creation, professional
development, and various economic development topics.
 Coordinating professional networking events.
 Pursuing methods to improve the employment rates of African Americans.
 Advocating for legislation that promotes small business growth, particularly policies that
address the challenges of Black business owners. We will maintain a nonpartisan
approach to advocacy and collaborate with policymakers from all political affiliations to
establish policies that embody equitable and inclusive outcomes.

🚨 VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED FOR THE JUNETEENTH PARADE! 🚨

The Lake City Black Chamber of Commerce and Fahim Temple 266 are still looking for volunteers to help with the Juneteenth Parade Lineup this Saturday!

This is a great opportunity to support our community, meet new people, and help make this year's celebration of freedom, unity, and heritage a success.

⏰ Time: 9:00 AM
📍 Location: Parade Lineup Area (Details provided upon sign-up)

Volunteers will help ensure a smooth and organized parade lineup while contributing to an event that brings our community together.
