We are a volunteer organization, and it has been your continued support and compassion that has allowed us to manage animal rescue challenges, operate and maintain our facility, and facilitate hundreds of adoptions over the past twenty years. Over 2,000 animals have passed through our doors. Since being founded as a no-kill pet rescue center, we have mainly been operated by volunteers. Assistance with medical treatment and spay/neuter initiatives has been made possible by funding from various grants awarded from corporations like PetSmart and agencies like LCRA and the Texas State Animal Friendly License Plate Foundation. Volunteers work hard caring for the animals and are as dedicated to improving community awareness. The rescue center has improved and expanded its facilities and operation by the grace of fundraisers like Strut Your Mutt, Amplify Austin, and the generous assistance of our many supporters.
