One of the most meaningful ways to honor a life is to continue the values that defined it.

The mission of the Melanie Rychlik Foundation is to continue Melanie's legacy by spreading love and gratitude throughout our community. Through partnerships with organizations that serve both people and animals, we seek to carry forward the compassion, generosity, and servant-hearted spirit that Melanie shared so freely.

One such partnership is with Living Grace Canine Ranch, where Foundation support has helped create six Senior Dog Activity Parks, renovate the Small Dog Bunkhouse, install pet turf playgrounds, and, most recently, support a new structure for the end-of-life journey, Serenity Cottage.

While these projects are tangible, their impact is measured in something far more important: the comfort, safety, dignity, and quality of life they provide for senior companions who need a place of peace and belonging.

We are grateful for the opportunity to support organizations whose work reflects the values Melanie embodied throughout her life—a deep commitment to helping those in need, whether they walk on two legs or four.

Each year, Living Grace Canine Ranch gathers to honor a stage of life that carries its own kind of beauty.

Golden Years Club residents—ages 13 to 20—strut their senior sass in a parade, bringing personality, charm, and a few well-earned opinions along the way.

This year also marks something new.

Living Grace Canine Ranch will open the doors to Serenity Cottage—a home-style sanctuary created for residents in advanced stages of life, where the environment itself becomes part of their care.

The Melanie Rychlik Foundation is honored to have supported the creation of the Serenity Cottage~

A place where silence and stillness are restorative.
Where each life is held with dignity, peace, and quiet reverence.

Guests are warmly invited to join us for this meaningful morning.

🐾 A Labor of Love — Thank You, MRF + LGCR Volunteers 🙌
Yesterday, something beautiful happened Living Grace Canine Ranch.
The Melanie Rychlik Foundation, alongside our incredible volunteers, rolled up their sleeves, grabbed their tools, and helped prepare the foundation—literally—for our new pet turf play area.
From hauling and raking to compacting and leveling, this was no small task. But thanks to their strength, dedication, and hearts full of purpose, our senior pups are one big step closer to having a safer, cleaner place to roam, rest, and roll.

💚 Your support isn’t just felt—it’s seen in every pawprint that will soon dance across that turf.

🐾 Doing It for the Dogs—With a Little Help from Our Friends 🧡

We’re laying down the green for our senior pups at Living Grace Canine Ranch, and it’s all thanks to the incredible generosity of the Melanie Rychlik Foundation, which sponsored their brand-new turf project! 🙌

Now it’s time to turn that gift into action—we need volunteers to help install the turf and bring this canine play space to life!

✨ Because of Love and Kindness, Healing Begins Here ✨

When 27 senior and special-needs dogs were rescued from the Coryell County hoarding crisis last week, their first stop was Living Grace Canine Ranch’s Intake & Triage Facility.

It’s here that broken bodies were stabilized, neglected coats shaved away, and frightened hearts reminded that they are safe.

This healing work was possible because last spring, the Melanie Rychlik Foundation funded a complete medical renovation of this critical space.

In honoring Melanie’s life of Love and Kindness, the Foundation gave these survivors a place where hope begins.

Every examination table, every gentle hand, and every sigh of relief from a rescued dog carries Melanie’s legacy forward. 💛🐾

Since 2023, the Melanie Rychlik Foundation has proudly supported Living Grace Canine Ranch's nonprofit work.

Last year, MRF filled four parks with custom agility playscapes designed for senior dogs, and the stories of these transformations continue to unfold. Together, we are making a significant impact on the lives of senior dogs, who also serve as loving companions to humans at high risk for loneliness and depression. It truly is a circle of love, and we invite you to see the difference you're helping to create.

Four playscapes with shade trees and six sanitation stations have been added to the Living Grace Canine Ranch landscape. These playscapes, a gift from the Melanie Rychlik Foundation, are explicitly designed to cater to the unique needs of our senior dogs.

Attention to detail, such as apparatus dimensions and color, is crucial to benefiting aging canines and addressing their physical and emotional needs. These improvements ensure that every senior dog, regardless of age or health, can participate and feel joy-filled about engaging in the final stage of life. It's a testament to the resilience and spirit of our beloved companions.

Melanie Rychlik's legacy of love and kindness lives on at Living Grace Canine Ranch. Thank you for your support, compassion, generosity, and kindness.
