Candlelight Ranch Candlelight Ranch provides educational and nature-based experiences for families and children of all-abilities and needs to learn, explore and heal.

Candlelight Ranch provides 40+ acres of nature exploration and outdoor fun for special needs and at-risk youth. Here, kids can play, learn about, and care for nature. The Ranch is a 501(c)(3) organization and partners with other non-profit organizations to provide opportunities for children to enjoy outdoor retreats and camp-outs.

For nearly seven years, Manny and Heather Martinez of 2020 Market Scratch Kitchen & Bar have been part of the Candlelight Ranch family, supporting our mission through their generosity, friendship, and a shared belief in creating meaningful experiences for children and families.

Today, Manny and the team at 2020 Market continue that support throughout the year, from providing wonderful lunches for children and families at the Ranch to joining the fun as a contestant at our Chili Cook-Off & Car Show.

šŸ¦ A Sweet Light a Path TraditionšŸ¦

For the past four years, Handel's Ice Cream Anderson Mill and local owners Chad and Alyse Hughes have been part of some pretty sweet moments at Candlelight Ranch.

Since bringing Handelā€™s to the Austin area with their Anderson Mill location in 2023, Chad and Alyse have continued a tradition that began in 1945: making ice cream fresh, one batch at a time.

Their support extends beyond Light a Path, too. Youā€™ll find Handelā€™s serving up scoops at our annual Chili Cook-Off & Car Show and bringing an extra dose of fun to the children and families we serve throughout the year.

On October 29, theyā€™ll be back for Light a Path, joining our lineup of Central Texas chefs and culinary partners for an evening built around good food, community, and a mission that matters.
