The La Vernia Alumni Association is proud to announce our 2026 Scholarship Winners!

This year, we awarded SEVENTEEN scholarships in the amount of $1,500 each to outstanding graduating seniors as they begin their next chapter. Since our inception in 2017, the La Vernia Alumni Association has proudly awarded more than $80,000 in scholarships to support the future of our community.

These scholarships would not be possible without the incredible support of our community, local businesses, and fellow alumni. We are deeply grateful for your continued investment in our students — our future alumni, leaders, and difference-makers.

Congratulations to all of our scholarship recipients! We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see all that you accomplish.

Thank you to those who were able to attend our 9th Annual Casino Night! We are so grateful for your support, which will continue to fund high school senior scholarships and senior events at LVISD. These kids are our future alumni, and by investing in them, we are helping keep our traditions alive, strengthening our community, and carrying on the legacy of LVISD for generations to come.

We'd also like to thank Class of 2026 Senior Sutton Krueger for donating so much of his time to take photos at the event and edit them so beautifully. This young man has a bright future ahead of him!

Thank you to the Carpenter Family for being a BLACKJACK sponsor for our 9th Annual Casino Night! Karin Strey Carpenter and her children all have attended LVHS. Karin was a 1992 graduate of La Vernia, and has two children, Corley (class of 2018) and Koy (class of 2021) who also attended. Karis is in the class of 2026.
