✨ What an incredible way to wrap up the year! ✨

This past Friday, we hosted our annual End of Year Band Banquet—it was a truly wonderful evening celebrating a terrific year of music, hard work, and memories. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves as much as we did! 🎷🎺
An event of this scale truly takes a village, and we have some massive thank-yous to send out:

Calling All Band Parents! 🎺🎷🥁🎼

We need your help to bring our "Starry Night" theme to life for this year’s Band Banquet! We have two opportunities for you to jump in and help us create a magical evening for our students.

Thursday: The Prep Party
Join us to get the foundation of our night under the stars ready!
When: Thursday, May 14th @ 6:00 PM
Where: LVHS band hall
What: We’ll be focused on latex balloon setup and getting our "Starry Night" decor prepped. Come out and have some fun with us before the big night!

Friday: The Big Setup
We’ll be heading to the venue to put the finishing touches on the celestial celebration.
When: Friday, May 15th @ 10:00 AM (Doors Open)
Where: Floresville Event Center
What: Final decoration setup and getting those balloon arches into place!

Many hands make light work, and we appreciate any time you can give to help make this banquet shine for the kids. See you there!

Happy new year!

I hope everyone enjoyed a happy and healthy holiday season. The turning of another calendar brings new beginnings and opportunities such as the inaugural season of Indoor Winds and the first Winterguard Contest next Saturday (1/24)!

We have our first Booster meeting of the year tomorrow (1/19) at 6:30pm in the Band Hall. We will get updates from the Jazz and Guard sub-committees, discuss the theme for this year's Band Banquet, and begin planning the 2026 fundraising. Hope to see you there!
