We are a Non-Profit Organization serving the Youth of LaVernia and it’s surrounding areas. We encompass boys and girls from ages 3-11. Currently we are engaged in TYFA Football and Cheer, Fall season

Happy Sunday Grizzlies!

😎We hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far.

We just wanted to share some updates on our teams and registration reminder, as we are ONE Month away from the first practice.

💥Update on Teams:

🏈FLAG FOOTBALL is now FULL!
📣ALL Cheer Squads are FULL!

Not to worry, our tackle teams still have some room available!
👇🏼

Tykes: Age 6 & 7 years old
Rookies: Age 8 & 9 years old
Juniors: Age 10 & 11 years old

These ages are based off of how old your child is as of August 1st of 2026, per TYFA!

AUGUST 1st:
👉🏼Last day to Register your player!
👉🏼All Invoices must be paid!

📲 If your athlete is already registered, your coaches will be reaching out via ‘Group Me’ to you and your team before the first day of practice, July 7th.

💙We can’t wait to see everyone! Enjoy your Summer & we will see you all on the field soon!

MANDATORY Uniform Fitting Day is here!
Saturday- June 13, 2026

💥There is only ONE DAY for this💥
Unfortunately we will not be able to make any other arrangements to have it completed on another date. So please strive to have your athlete present.

🧾ALL INVOICES ARE TO BE PAID IN FULL before fitting can take place.

🩱Please bring your athlete with either a swim suit or sports bra/shorts under their clothing, as this is the quickest way to try on the uniforms.

🤸🏽‍♀️Please see your athletes designated time slot to ensure you have enough time to arrive.

💥GRIZZLIES IT’S TIME!💥

💥FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE💥
July 7th, 2026 from 6:00PM-8:00PM
Location: Wiseman Field.

📆 For the Month of July practices will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00PM-8:00PM.

✍🏼Things to know before!

💦- HYDRATE, HYDRATE, HYDRATE. This starts days before, not the day of! Let’s set our athletes up for success.

🏈📣- All athletes, Cheer & Football please bring your own labeled, water bottle full and ready to go.

🏈- All Football players- Mouth pieces are highly encouraged to get them used to wearing them on the field.

🏈- Football players, please come dressed in athletic wear, & football cleats. This includes, just shorts and a T-shirt.

🏈- Tackle Football: No padded pants are required at this time. Your coaches will inform you when it’s time for full pads.

📣- Cheerleaders, bring your pep, loudest voice, & best moves!

We can’t wait to meet all new comers and reunite with our returners! This is going to be the greatest season yet!

🏋🏽 Sports Physicals are required for each and every athlete who will be participating this season.

⏰ These are due on or before the first day of practice.

****First day of practice date TBD****

These can be done at your pediatrician’s office or right here in La Vernia at Connally Memorial Family Practice (behind Sonic). They do accept walk ins and they are $25/child.
