This team of boys are really good at baseball… but they are even better people, and that is a reflection of such good mommas!!!
After an extremely late night of baseball after midnight, we went 2-0 and earned the 1 seed. We came up a little short on Sunday but still a great overall Mothers Day weekend… core memories made from two of our own, BIG CONGRATULATIONS to 2 new comers to the home run club! Huck Wells and Brantley Arrambide both there first Home Run… and Wyatt Real continues to rack up his home run total with another this weekend! So many great things from all the players, so proud of this Drip team!

Don’t let that sweet smile fool you, he’s a pitchers worst nightmare because this kid hit major dingers! His talent, determination, and heart are so important to the Drip squad! 💧

Well a good weekend for the LV Drip in Boerne, going 2-0 on Saturday and finishing with the #2 seed. On Sunday we ran into a really strong Boerne Bananas team and came up short, they ended up winning the tournament by 12 run rule… but we fought extremely hard! Not perfect baseball but we continued to fight all the way to the end. Huge weekend from all of our Drip players but some big shout outs to Landon Smith for 2 big Home-runs this weekend, and a personal record 6 K’s on the mound for Huck Wells!!! Both winning players of the game on Saturday! I’m so proud of this Drip team, they started the year with a 1-9 record and have won 12 of there last 15, now sitting above .500 at 13-12!!! Resiliency, Grit, Hard-work and lots of dedication is paying off… proud of you boys, Drip On 💧 ⚾️

What a weekend… LV Drip are officially Champions!!! We went an impressive 5-0 this weekend, going 2-0 in pool play and then winning 3 games Sunday to become Champions!!! Every kid played a part and it took going into extra innings and an absolute battle but LV Drip won 9-8!!! HOME RUNS again from Wyatt and THREE from Evan this weekend, and joining the HOME RUN CLUB with a huge 2 run shot to give us the lead in the Championship game is Bentley “Whizzle” Javior!!! Huge Congratulations to these boys, winners of 7 of there last 8 and back to back championship appearances including a five-tool championship!!! This is the “One Team… One Goal” that we set out to accomplish this year and they have been working there butts off, and it’s paying off now!! So proud of these boys and everything they are accomplishing, I see huge things to continue…

Evan- Happy Birthday Evan 11! Happy go lucky with the biggest smile and a big home run hitter! Fun facts about Evan are that he loves catching lizards and he loves basketball.

Huck- Happy Birthday Big Dawg! Heart of gold and full of hustle - he bleeds drip Pink and Blue! Huck’s favorite show is Survivor and he never turns down Buffalo wings.

Bentley- Happy birthday Wizzle! Whether he’s dealing on the mound or hosing runners from behind the dish, Bentley eats sleeps and breathes baseball. Fun fact- his favorite movie is Happy Gilmore.

I’m so proud of this Drip team this weekend, going to the championship and never giving up, we may not have won it all but we fought hard and played mistake free baseball! We had so many outstanding individual performances from sooo many different kids BUT all I can say is it was a total team effort this weekend!!!! Literally every kid I can go through and call out for something they did this weekend to help put our team in a position to win, a big shout to our players of the game winners Evan and Huck and a outstanding pitching performance from BeeWee (Whizzle) was nothing short of player of the game worthy! Congrats to the big home runs from G, Wyatt and 2 from Evan!!! Congratulations boys and Drip on!!!!💧⚾️

First weekend back in tournament play and Saturday was rough…. It was cold, we were not ourselves and we knew we didn’t play Drip baseball…. We did have a big HOMERUN from “Big Country” Wyatt Real!!!! We came back Sunday and showed everyone how well of a team we are, winning our first game of bracket play behind a phenomenal pitching performance from Brantley Arrambide!! Bats came alive with multiple players having big timely hits and playing nearly mistake free baseball. After the win, we fought hard and showed we can hang tough with a really good Wilson County Warriors team that is on majors level caliber, only trailing 3-1 into the 3rd inning. Another HOMERUN from Wyatt Real on Sunday, making it 2 for the weekend!!! We didn’t win the tournament but it’s not always the rings we chase but the lessons we learn along the way and the memories we make on and off the field… I’m so glad baseball season is back and I love these kids and these families that I’m blessed to spend many weekends ahead with. We are so proud of this team and how they responded today… it’s going to be a good year! One Team, One Goal… Drip on!!! 💧 ⚾️
