Did you know that the historic charm and vibrant events you love on Main Street aren’t run by the city? 🤯🚂

It’s true! La Grange Main Street Program is a fully independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. That means every community market, seasonal festival, and historic preservation project relies entirely on grassroots support, volunteers, and generous donations from people just like you.

We love keeping La Grange beautiful and bustling, but we can't do it alone. Want to play a direct role in keeping our small-town heart beating strong?

Mark your calendars! 🗓️✨ The Oldham County History Center’s annual Juneteenth Celebration Banquet is coming up on Saturday, June 20th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the CityPlace Pavilion in downtown La Grange.

This year’s powerful program honors the historic local Black churches that grounded the Civil Rights Movement. The evening will feature:
🎤 An inspiring panel discussion with local civil rights leaders Rev. Dr. Charles Elliot, Jr., William E. Summers, IV, and Mattie Jones.
🎼 Moving musical performances by the Serenity Singers.
🏆 The presentation of the 2026 Elijah Marrs Achievement Award to the family of Reverend W. H. Craighead (in memory).

This is a full banquet and a wonderful event for all ages. Seating is limited, so make sure to reserve your tickets in advance!

Filled with beautiful native plants, this garden isn't just a scenic spot, it's a vital habitat supporting our local bees, butterflies, and insects. Thanks to our partnership with the Oldham County Conservation District, we work month after month to keep this eco-friendly space thriving.
