Soul Needs is a community space coming soon to Main Street in La Grange Kentucky. What is Soul Needs? We were blessed with this space and God made it very clear that this space was not for financial gain or for us personally but that it was for his kingdom. We are trusting the Lord with this space completely. What it is now and what it will become is what God chooses. As of right now we believe Go

d has made this a place for the community to come in and just take a breath from the busyness of the world. That may look like us walking along other ministries or it may look like a space for prayer and worship. The point of the space is community meeting each other and the spirit right where you are. I do want to specify that we are "not" a church. We are "not" a Non-profit or for-profit. We are not selling anything and do not require business license. We (you and me) "are" the church and we truly feel led to disciple out with the broken and lost and if that means this space is just another place in the community to find rest and peace with Jesus then that is what we are. So, what is Soul needs.......... With God, and faithfully obeying what he wants first and foremost, I pray this space can radiate the light of Jesus in this very dark world.

This is the season to rise.
Rise above fear.
Rise above worldly authority
Rise above the darkness
Rise above shame.
Rise above the lies that tried to bury your calling.

Heaven is calling warriors, not spectators. And the same God who called you is the One strengthening you, guiding you, and loving you.

God has given you authority to stand firm, speak truth, protect your peace, and walk boldly in the calling He placed on your life. You do not have to shrink back from darkness when the light of Christ lives within you.

Fear does not have the final word.
Intimidation does not have the final word.
Worldly authority does not have the final word.
The battle does not have the final word.

God does!

Walk with confidence today knowing heaven stands behind you.

Luke 10:19 reminds us that through Him, we are not powerless — we are protected, strengthened, and equipped.

Lately, it feels like everywhere we look in this town there’s anger, division, outrage, and hate — especially online. From the county gossip pages to the local street gossip. Politics, opinions, and constant divsion have made so many people forget how to simply love one another.

Regardless of your beliefs, political views, or opinions, people are still human beings deserving of kindness, respect, compassion, and love

God never called us to live consumed by hatred toward one another. He called us to love deeply, walk in grace, and remember that every person we encounter carries a story only He fully knows.

You can stand firm in what you believe without losing your compassion for people. The world has enough hate already. Be someone who reflects Jesus’s love instead. It’s all a choice!

Sometimes I just sit in awe of how gentle and beautiful God truly is.

The Creator of the heavens and earth looked at you and decided the world needed you in it.

Not by accident.
Not as an afterthought.
But with deep love, intention, and purpose.
Every detail of your life matters to Him.

Every dream, every gift, every quiet piece of your heart was lovingly created by the One who makes sunsets glow and flowers bloom.

You are fully known, deeply loved, and beautifully created by God.

Each week we’ll spend time in God’s Word, walk through a chapter together, and have meaningful discussion and reflection questions to encourage healing, growth, and deeper connection.

Whether you’re in a season of rebuilding, learning, resting, or growing — there is a seat for you here.

Sometimes our hearts want to rush in and rescue and save. We see the hurt, the injustice, the pain… and we immediately want to fight for them.

But sometimes God gently reminds us:
“You don’t have to carry what only I was meant to carry.”

Not every battle is ours to fix. Some battles are ours to walk beside. To pray through. To support through. To love through.

There is peace in knowing that while we may not be their savior… we can still be a safe place, steady support, and reflection of His love while He does what only He can do.

Days 3-6

So sorry. I have been recovering from being sick the past week bi I am sitting in how trusting God means letting go of the need to have everything figured out.

Proverbs reminds us not to lean on our own understanding, Isaiah tells us not to fear because He is with us, Peter invites us to release every worry to Him, and the Psalms promise that true rest is found in His presence. When we choose to trust instead of control, surrender instead of stress, and faith instead of fear, something beautiful happens—our souls begin to breathe again. We were never meant to carry it all alone. God is holding you, guiding you, strengthening you, and caring for every detail of your life. Rest in that today.
