The cadets will be playing games, being active, having fun, getting some exercise, and having Christian fellowship. 💪🏽🙏🏽

Some of the cadets will be boarding for their next rank, which means properly demonstrating their knowledge and readiness to step into the next leadership rank. 💪🏽

On the first Tues of every month we have PT night!

Tuesdays Award Banquet was phenomenal. So much love, perseverance, training and dedication go into this program but the cadets, parents & staff. THANK YOU TO ALL THE HANDS & HEARTS WHO MAKE THIS PROGRAM POSSIBLE. We are improving the next generation of men! And raising LIONS to fight for faith, freedom and country!!! 🇺🇸

The cadets love to have things to work toward and it motivates them to take initiative.

They're encouraged to start conversations to share the gospel, hold themselves accountable, grow physically, mentally and spiritually, get good grades, and work toward earning badges and ribbons in Lee Corps that the we've been learning about!

The boys work on survival skills, tactics, apologetics, academics, radio calls, land navigation, and more!! 💚🤎🩶💪🏽🙏🏽

The cadets have been dropped off! In the middle of 485 acres. To fend for themselves in a 24-hour SURVIVAL COURSE. 💪🏽 Their food, water, shelter, safety, is ON THEM 👏🏽👏🏽 They have been trained WELL. They will shine! They know Who they serve 👏🏽💪🏽🙏🏽✝️ Amen!! And let's goooo!!!!!!!

🔥🌲🪵 SURVIVAL CERTIFICATION 🔥🌲🪵
****24 HOUR SURVIVAL****

🌲When: THIS weekend, Friday May 30- Saturday May 31.

🌲Time: drop off Friday 10am-12noon
Pickup Saturday by 3:00pm

🌲Address: 5548 La Grange rd Smithfield 40068

🌲Intent: For the Cadets to be able to experience what it is like to be in a survival situation, so that if they ever find themselves in that position in life, they will be properly prepared physically, mentally, and spiritually! 💪🏽

🌲 Mission- On order, 1st Battalion Lee Corps will conduct a survival training operation in order to test the cadet’s survival skills that they have learned over the past few weeks.

Cadets will be paired, or in groups of 3.
They will be expected to:
▪️build shelter
▪️find a water source
▪️build a fire
▪️maintain fire
▪️filter water through fire coals
▪️locate/ identify a natural weapon
▪️hunt/trap food (if they are able to get a rabbit or rodent of some sort, they are able to trade for a hotdog 😉)
▪️clean and organize their campsite.

🚨 PACKING LIST- All cadets will need to have the following:
• A small pouch and or f***y pack to hold their survival gear.
• A knife that is at least 4 inches long ideally a fixed blade.
• Strips of 5ft and 10 ft 550 paracord that need to equal up to at least 100 feet.
• A fire-starting kit that should comprise of a lighter, matches and or ferro rod, along with minor kindling.
• A metal cup of some kind that can be placed into fire. (Can be an empty canned good)
Everything that is going to be listed below is optional and not required.
• A camping kit of their choice just in case something goes wrong (optional)
• 1 extra item of their choice in the survival kit. It must make sense and it must fit in their kit to be allowed.
• Change of clean clothes
• Bug spray

‼️‼️PRO TIP‼️‼️ grab some permethrin bug spray at your local store or Amazon and spray clothes, socks, boots 24-48 HOUES BEFORE and leave in a dry place!!! This will keep ticks off!!!

JOIN US TUESDAY (tomorrow) night 7-9 pm to finalize our SURVIVAL CAMP details!!!

This week is SURVIVAL CAMP 🌲🪵🔥🌙💧
where the cadets will challenge themselves to:
Stay up day/night,
Locate a water source,
Build a fire,
Construct shelter,
Filter water thru fire coals.

They bring: a knife, fire starter and a canteen!

They will push themselves, challenge themselves mentally and spiritually, and grow as young men!!!

Last week, we said a heartfelt "See ya later" to Major OWEN STONE.

Owen has been a crucial piece and a driving force to the Lee Corps for YEARS.

His focus, drive, work ethic, leadership, and undeniable LOVE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST shines through all he does.

There wasn't a dry eye in the ceremony we had for him.

As he heads into his Kingdom Mission of his life, he will be certainly missed here but we pray for God to remain the focus of his life! 💪🏽✝️

He is a FORCE.

We also pray he returns for our special events, field ex missions and air soft battles!! 😀

Thank you, Owen for all your, have done, and will continue to do!

The RÉSUMÉ that these cadets have under their belt when they graduate the program will be impressive to any school, branch, or career.

But the most important thing these young men will be able to do is:
DEFEND THEIR FAITH & SHARE THE GOSPEL.
