Fire Marshall Keith Smith and Maj. Mike Rouser retired after serving decades at the La Grange Fire Department, beginning their journey as volunteers in the 90s.

Mutual Aid Deployment Notice

Due to the scale of the plane crash at the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport and the extensive resources required, the LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department has deployed an engine and truck company to Jefferson County to assist at the request of Oldham County Emergency Management.

Additional personnel have been recalled to ensure continued coverage of calls for service within the LaGrange Fire Protection District.

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected and with all first responders working this tragic incident.
