Grateful for a morning of service at the La Grange Historical African American Cemetery.

It was inspiring to work alongside the Oldham Chamber Future First Young Professionals Group, local leaders, Rotarians and community volunteers dedicated to preserving this important piece of our community’s history.

Thank you La Grange Tourism for helping bring everyone together for such a meaningful project.

Rotarians make Rail Fest great! Donna Sabo organizes the whole event which is a celebration of how LaGrange is one of only 3 cities in the world where a train runs through Main Street! If you’re a train enthusiast (like my husband and Virtual Railfan) it’s the place to be on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. Oldham County Community Band provided live music! (Sandy Johnson played French horn and Jane Coble Royer played tuba). Many other Rotarians were there to support the event like Laura Tapp) Such a wonderful community festival!
