163 children were rescued in Florida in one of the largest child‑recovery operations in state history. Ages ranged from 2 months to 17 years old many suffering abuse, neglect, exploitation, or trafficking.

This is why SheCor Cares stands firm in the fight against child trafficking. 💙

This is why we speak up. 🗣

This is why we educate. 📑

This is why we advocate. 👩‍🏫

Every child deserves protection, healing, and a future free from fear. 🙏🙏✝️

📢🗣 A Special Announcement on a Very Special Day: 🎂🎁🎉🎊

Today, on her heavenly birthday, we also celebrate the anniversary of the Ordie Lee Rimmer Foundation: a foundation built on love, legacy, service, and the desire to make a difference in the lives of others. 🕊️🩵🩷

It is with that same spirit that we want to share an important update.

This year, we did not identify a grandparent who met the criteria to be considered for an award from the Ordie Lee Rimmer Foundation. While that opportunity did not come to fruition this year, we believe there is still something greater ahead. 🙏🙏🫂👥

Our Executive Director, Sherika Rimmer, has decided to take the necessary steps to begin the application process for future consideration.

We are hopeful that this opportunity will allow us to broaden our reach and expand the number of grandparents and families we are able to serve across Mississippi.

And we want to invite YOU to be part of that journey. Individuals, businesses, churches, nonprofits, foundations, and community organizations, there is a place for you in this mission. Please consider making a donation, becoming a partner, or simply sharing our mission with someone who may want to help. 🫶

Your support can help us reach more grandparents and families, expand our programs and services, strengthen communities across Mississippi, and continue a legacy rooted in compassion, service, and love. 🙏🙏✝️

This legacy continues through the work we do, the lives we touch, and the communities we serve.

Thank you for believing in this mission, supporting this work, and walking alongside us as we look toward the future. 🤗🩵🩷🤍

Today, I had the opportunity to attend the Hunger Free Mississippi Conference on behalf of SheCor Cares. Our mission is committed to ensuring that women, children, and the elderly have access to the resources, support, and information they need to thrive. 🫂

In the current state of our nation and economy, conversations and collaborations like these are more important than ever. Communities need not only access to vital services, but also awareness, advocacy, and support systems that empower them to navigate challenging times. 🙏🙏

Being in spaces dedicated to creating real solutions and uplifting people gives me a renewed sense of purpose and passion. I truly get energized by work like this, because every effort made today has the potential to impact lives for the better tomorrow. 🌎

SheCor Cares remains committed to serving, connecting, and advocating for those who need it most.

The Capital Club is such a beautiful space. Each time I'm there, I enjoy the delicious food and the elegant scenery. Oh yea, it's a great place to take pics as well. 📸🤳
