One year ago, we set out to bring youth sports back to Carter Sports Park. Thanks to the support of our players, families, coaches, volunteers, and community, we've completed our first full year back—and now we're ready to make Fall 2026 our biggest season yet!
To celebrate this milestone, we are offering discounted registration rates for all players this fall season!
Fall 2026 Registration Fees:
⚾ 4u WeeBall (includes shirt) – $50
⚾ 5/6u T-Ball – $75
⚾ 8u-12u Baseball – $75

💚 Hornet Heroes Challenger League Registration is FREE! 💚
After an incredible inaugural season, we're excited to announce that the Hornet Heroes are officially returning this fall! Watching these athletes compete, grow, and enjoy the game reminded us exactly what youth sports should be about. As always, Hornet Heroes players will have a $0 registration fee.
This isn't just about baseball and softball. It's about rebuilding a community tradition, creating opportunities for our kids, and putting Carter Sports Park back at the forefront of youth sports in Knox County.

As we are completing our 2026 Spring Season, we have 1 team left to play their final game. The Carter Sports Park Hornet Heroes have 1 final game remaining to play on June 19th at Knox County Sports Park on the newly turfed fields. We would like to invite EVERYONE from the park to come out and be a part of this special night for them. They will have the very first game on the new fields to open the weekend for Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacob's tournament for Operation Hero's Hill that provides housing for the veterans of our area.

With that said, it is very important that we recognize the people and companies that made this season a reality with their support. Without ALL of these gracious people, this season could not have turned out like it did! And for that, we're grateful!

If you weren’t there for the 8u Baseball Championship game, you definitely missed a gem! Back and forth for 4 innings, then the lightning came. After 4 lightning delays the kids were put back out there. When the 5th delay happened, the game was called by the rules and reverted back to the last completed inning which was a 4-4 tie. So as per the agreement of commissioners, champions and finalists were set by seeding. There were definitely no losers in this game!

The 10u Silver Bracket was able to complete their season last night before the lightning made it to the park. Great season by all!
