Bringing “Last Out" to the American people on the heels of the recent end of the Afghan War has been a labor of love that would not be possible without the resources and encouragement from Gary Sinise and his amazing foundation. As we prepare to kick off our national “Last Out” tour in the iconic Steppenwolf theater in Chicago IL - listen to this interview to find out how it all started with Gary, the Vietnam play “Tracers" and listen to Gary as he breaks down multiple generations of “doing a little more".

Operation Angel Wing is honored to be a collaborative partner with the play, LAST OUT: Elegy of a Green Beret , —an incredible production written by retired Army Green Beret, LTC Scott Mann , that portrays the true cost of war, both for our warriors and their families.
We will serve as community outreach and provide behavioral health services for the play and also as coaching staff as the Gary Sinise Foundation presents the Generosity of Scars Storytelling workshops.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Statistics are shocking! On average, 10 people are abused, physically, emotionally, sexually, and mentally by intimate partners every minute. That’s every 60 seconds 20 people’s lives are forever changed. If you do the math, this equates to over 10 million victims a year. 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have endured abuse from a partner. Millions of Americans live daily, silent with fear within their own homes. The statistics don’t stop at men and women. Every year millions of children and youth are also exposed to domestic violence and suffer the repercussions of it as well. Domestic violence incidents do not only affect one individual, it affects everyone within the home. The negative effects of domestic violence on children’s emotional well-being, social and academic functioning and is considered trauma.
