Cheryl Lyn Welter Family Charitable Foundation ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐— ๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป of the Cheryl Lyn Welter Family Charitable Foundation is to change the lives of underprivileged children in rural Indiana.

The Foundation pursues this mission by working with Teachers and others who work with the underprivileged in our local schools. Cherylโ€™s Foundation provides resources by way of grants to those working with these kids to help them provide the little things which many of them canโ€™t afford.

As we get ready to tee off at the 3rd Annual Cheryl Lyn Welter Family Charitable Foundation Blue Eyes Golf Tournament, we want to take a moment to thank the incredible people and businesses who make this event possible.

A heartfelt thank you to our Corporate Sponsors, Road Sprinkler Fitters Local Union 669 and the Monte & Paula Clindaniel Family, for their generous support. Thank you as well to all of our Hole Sponsors for investing in local students and helping make this event such a success.

We're also grateful to Chesapeake Golf Course for hosting us once again, Knox Chevrolet for providing the vehicle for our hole-in-one prize, Behind the Bars Power Sports for supplying a golf cart for another exciting prize opportunity, Five Star Foods for providing lunch, and The Garden by Elizabeth for their generous donations.

The 3rd annual Cheryl Lyn Welter Charitable Foundation "Blue Eyes" Golf Tournament is shaping up to be a great day of golf, food, fun and winning! We are still in need of some volunteers to help during the day. So far, the Foundation has awarded 420 grants to teachers who work with underprivileged kids to help with the little things which teachers too often have to take out of their own pockets. These grants have gone to 54 different schools in 24 different school corporations and have totaled $195,880.94.
Some of the main beneficiaries are:
Culver Community - 48 grants - $23,351.86
Knox Community - 51 grants - $21,410.00
South Central School Corp. - 43 grants - $20,376.24
NJ-SP School Corp. - 40 grants - $19,558.16
Eastern Pulaski School Corp. - 38 grants - $18,482.00
West Central School Corp. - 36 grants - $15,412.49
Kankakee Valley School Corp. - 32 grants - $14,102.37
Pioneer Regional School Corp. - 21 grants - $11,150.00
East Porter Schools (Kouts, Morgan Twp, Washington Twp)
17 grants - $10,100.00
