Marlette Sportsmen's Association We are a private club located in Tuscola County. 4260 White Creek Rd. Kingston,MI, 2 miles west and 4 1/2 miles north of Marlette. We have two trap fields.

For information about our club please read the top pinned post and additional info below for more details. The Marlette Sportsmen's Association is a private club for outdoor enthusiasts. Annual membership dues are $40. With a membership, you have full access to the facility except for scheduled event times. We have a rifle range with target backers at 25, 50, and 100 yards. We have a separate 200-

yard rifle range. We also have a three-sided pistol bay that reaches out to 50 yards. Bring your own targets and shoot from under the covered ranges. Starting in the spring, trap-shooting is held on Thursday evenings. We are the home range for the Sandusky and Marlette High School Trap teams. Also starting in late spring, every Tuesday evening has scheduled pistol shoots. This is open to all skill levels and a great way to improve your pistol shooting skills. The club also hosts muzzle-loading, Project Appleseed, 4-H shooting clubs, trapping seminars, and occasional rifle shoots. Members will receive a schedule of events calendar and the events tab will keep you updated on ongoing and upcoming activities. If you are a member and would like to organize an activity, just bring it up during a monthly membership meeting and request permission and club support. We are always looking for new members. If you are interested in joining, contact Bill Maher at 989-635-7072 and he will provide you with an application. Or you can attend a monthly meeting and complete an application to submit for the approval process. The monthly meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month starting at 7pm at our clubhouse.

Many are asking abt our Gun/Deck system:
Each gun is assigned its own deck. (52 cards) and we alternate deck colors too.
Ex: Gun & Deck #1: was for a Henry Golden boy .22. The back of that “BLUE” deck will have a #1 on it… (52 chances to win)
When that deck is sold out. We get a “Red” deck of cards and put a #2 on them and start a new gun/deck… bc gun #1: Henry Golden Boy was so popular and sold out so fast, we did repeat and assigned Deck|Gun #2: the same gun. Another Henry Golden Boy (52 more chances to win). Gun/Deck #3 was then a Blue deck: with 52 more cards, etc…
It’s kinda hard to put it into words via a post, but I hope this simplifies it and “kinda” explains it… 🤷🏻‍♀️👍🏻👍🏻
