Marlette MASAP

Marlette MASAP MASAP is a nonprofit organization in Marlette, MI that help kids learn the sport of baseball/softball. T-ball is co-ed for 4 and 6 year olds.

Marlette Area Summer Athletic Program is for boys and girls ages 4 to 16 who are interested in playing baseball/softball. Next step is Rookies where a pitching machine is used, also co-ed, and is mainly for children 7-8. After that is the Minors, where teams are no longer co-ed and live pitching by players is enforced. Ages for the minors are 9-10. The Majors are for players 11-12 years old. Final

ly, we offer traveling teams for 13-16 year olds.

***These ages are approximates...depending on skill level, there may be adjustments made to best place the player.

***All T-ball games will be played in Marlette. Depending on the number of players, Rookies, Minors and Majors may have to travel to play games (for example: Sandusky or Mayville) However, practices will be held in Marlette.

Thank you to the School Board for approving the construction of these batting cages. This is a true investment in the future of our baseball/softball programs! Sports Boosters has headed up this project and partnered with MASAP, and the H.S. Athletic Dept., we are all excited to enhance our facilities. There will be two cages, one at each varsity field. Thank you to everyone involved and the local contractors who are helping. Stay tuned for construction pictures, this summer.
