The EETC is striving to create professional power equipment technicians of today's sophisticated power equipment products. In order to meet these needs, the association has developed the EETC Technician Certification program to measure the skill level of repair technicians working in the industry today. We have also developed our EETC School Accreditation program to recognize schools that have an outstanding outdoor equipment training course to train future technicians.

Mike Fassbender and Rachel White from Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, WI both have great backgrounds. Mike actually went through EETC training as he was getting his education, and Rachel got a bachelor's degree but decided it wasn't her interest, so she's now at Fox Valley Technical College getting training she really enjoys.
