We are filled with gratitude and joy as we reflect on our All Girls Back to School Event hosted by Girl Talk Ministry! 💖

To all the amazing young girls who came out — thank you for your energy, smiles, and beautiful presence. YOU are the reason we do what we do, and we’re so excited to see you shine this school year! 📚✨

A heartfelt thank you to:

🏢 Quickway Cleaners in Kings Mountain – for graciously allowing us to use your space as a drop-off location.

⛪ Vestibule AME Zion Church – for opening your doors and hearts to host this event. Your support means the world!

🎁 Every generous community member who donated items – your kindness helped make sure our girls were equipped and empowered for success. As well as Washington Outreach Ministry.

💇‍♀️ Our talented and giving cosmetologists: KaMyiah, Tania, and Moneka – thank you for pouring love and confidence into each hairstyle. You made every girl feel seen and special!

💪 And last but certainly not least, our energetic and dedicated volunteers – your hard work, spirit, and smiles kept everything running smoothly. We truly couldn’t have done this without you!

This event was a true reflection of what happens when a community comes together with purpose and love. Here’s to a powerful school year ahead! 💕✨

WITH THAT STATED, DEPENDING ON THE INFLUX OF GIRLS WE MAY HAVE, AND THE TIME REMAINING FOR THE END OF THE EVENT, SOME GIRLS MAY NOT BE ABLE TO GET THEIR HAIR DONE. WE WILL DO OUR BEST DURING THE EVENT IN COMMUNCATING HOW MANY MORE GIRLS THE STYLIST WILL BE ABLE TO SERVICE TILL THE REMAINDER OF THE EVENT. What better way to give back to our community than to ensure our girls have what they need to step into the school year!

We will be servicing girls ages 10-18 for our event! Please read the flier in full detail to ensure you don’t miss anything!

Also, to further clarify, if your child DOES NOT come with their hair washed and fully blow dried the hairstylist WILL NOT proceed in providing services. This is to ensure a time efficient service for everyone as well as the hairstylist!
