KBE PACE endorses Measure P | KBE PACE respalda la Medida P

At Kings Beach Elementary, the Parcel Tax Measure provides about $542,121 a year (~$1,618 per student) to fund 3.2 staff positions, including our science (Ms. Bossler), music (Mr. O), PE (Ms. Kelley) teachers and counselor (Ms. D), as well as art programs, library materials, enrichment equipment and social emotional support.

A hawk, a falcon, and an owl walked into a fourth-grade science lesson! Suddenly ecosystems, adaptations, and food webs got a lot more interesting.

Thanks to a $300 Excellence in Education Foundation grant, every fourth grader at Kings Beach Elementary got an up-close look at live birds of prey through Raptor Adventures. The experience gave students a memorable way to connect what they were learning in class with the real world, while sparking plenty of curiosity along the way.

¡Atención a todos los padres, padrastros, abuelos y figuras paternas de la escuela primaria Kings Beach! Están invitados a nuestra "Noche de la pizza" de Watch D.O.G.S. (Padres de alumnos excelentes).

Tanto si ya has sido voluntario como si eres nuevo y tienes curiosidad por saber de qué va Watch D.O.G.S., ven a disfrutar de una pieza de pizza y descubre cómo puedes marcar una gran diferencia en nuestra comunidad escolar.

Calling All Father Figures! Join Us for Watch D.O.G.S. Pizza Night

Attention all Kings Beach Elementary dads, stepfathers, grandfathers, and father figures! You are invited to our Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) Pizza Night.

Whether you are a returning volunteer or brand new and curious about what Watch D.O.G.S. is all about, come grab a slice and see how you can make a huge impact on our school community.

When: Monday, September 28 at 6:00 PM

Where: Kings Beach Elementary Cafeteria

If you are coming, MAKE SURE you confirm your presence by sending an email to [email protected], so we have enough pizza for everyone. Free pizza provided! Please note that this meeting is strictly for adult father figures only (no kids allowed) so we can focus on planning and program details.

Come learn how just one day of volunteering can change a student's year. We hope to see you there!
