It has been a massive week of celebrations at Kings Beach Elementary! Between Kinder promotions and the 5th-grade graduation, we’ve been feeling all the emotions.
And just when you thought it couldn’t get any cuter... check out our adorable TK class celebrating their graduation right on the beach! Way to go, little lions! Next stop: Kindergarten!

Goodbye Kindergarten, Hello First Grade!
Today was filled with big smiles, tiny caps, and a whole lot of proud tears! Congratulations to all of our amazing Kinder graduates!
We couldn't have done it without our phenomenal Kindergarten teachers. Thank you for your endless patience, creative energy, and for making school such a joyful place to be. You are true superheroes!

We are absolutely bursting with pride for our amazing girls who crushed the 3-mile Girls on the Run race!
Not only did they show incredible stamina, determination, and teamwork, but they did it all while rocking their awesome superhero capes! They didn't just run; they soared! 🦸‍♀️✨ Watching them cross that finish line with huge smiles was the absolute highlight of our weekend.

Big miles and smiles today! Our "Let Me Run" boys' running club teamed up with the Donner Party Mountain Runners and Tahoe Mountain Sports for an epic fun run.
The boys tackled some serious vertical climb on the trails and crushed it! To top off an already amazing day, one of our runners took home the grand raffle prize: a brand-new pair of Nnormal running shoes!
Huge thanks to the parents and teachers who took the boys to this awesome fun run.

January 30 (Friday): Family Movie Night at KBE Cafeteria. Free admission. Doors open at 5pm and movie will begin at 5:30pm. Movie will be played in English with Spanish subtitles. BOTTOMLESS POPCORN for all! Food will be available for purchase. There will be a raffle for the movie DVD, logowear, and free dress day! Bring sleeping bags, pillows, chairs, or whatever and get cozy for a night of movie spectacular!

We’re Spreading Kindness—And We Need Your Help!
We’re excited to announce that our school will be participating in the Great Kindness Challenge this year!

This global, week-long celebration of kindness takes place January 26–30, 2026, and encourages students to take part in meaningful, age-appropriate acts of kindness each day.
With over 22 million students worldwide joining in, we’re proud to be part of this inspiring movement that builds compassion, strengthens connections, and creates a positive, inclusive school community 💫

To make the week extra special, we’ll be hosting kindness-focused activities during recess all week long, and we’d love the help of parent volunteers to support and encourage our students as they spread kindness!
