About Me: Hello! My name is Lola! I was born in Jay, Maine and my brother Charlie and I were adopted together and are both therapy dogs.
I am one of the “Decompression Dogs” that visit the University of Maine at Farmington. I love going on visits and seeing all my friends (and fans). I smile so wide because I know that when I put my bandanna on that it’s time to “work” and I get very excited.
My favorite things are stuffies, fetching, sitting on Dad, balls, wrestling with Charlie, playing with my friends at doggie daycare, elevators and treats. I love vegetables, especially cherry tomatoes and green beans. I have been told that I am the softest dog many people have ever pet!
My best trick is roll over, everyone is always very impressed and I feel proud because Charlie doesn’t know that one, haha!

Hello from Lana! Don’t let my 80’s rock star look fool you - I’m a sweet girl who knows how to bring gentle comfort. Mum estimates I’ve done 200 LOAL visits in my 7 years of certification. I especially enjoy visiting with my senior citizen and high school friends. I love doing visits with my LOAL pals and really like helping my friends complete their certification visits. At home, I like playing catch and release with frogs in the pond, snuggling with my family, silly photo shoots and carrying my favorite hippo toy through the woods.
